Re: South Park Mafia [Day 2]

I admit to knowing next to nothing about the show itself, but is it remotely possible that one of the 4 main characters could be mafia? Is that type of 'twist' possible from blakebowling?
I've gotten in trouble in themed mafia games before by taking a player's allegiance at face value from their character name.
Just wondering if others think it's a possibility at all.

I doubt it Stan and Kyle are almost always good kids for the most part and Kenny just dies a lot. Cartman is th only one that could be scum as he pretty much just cares about himself. Also, 40 you just voted Streaker without a real reason would you care to explain that please? I realize you like to skim and post little in this game but voting someone without a reason doesn't allow the rest us us to see your line of reasoning.

I-I getta do some chores fellas but can play later. See ya in a b-bit.

We can't eliminate anyone based off only a claim. If we ignore everything else they do after a believable claim, then scum could slip under the radar.

I want to hear from the person 40k "interviewed" last night. This would easily confirm him as town. You don't have to claim, just say you were in fact interviewed by 40k.

Well, as Kenny, I know that the boys are good kids. They're my friends and this is something that I know.

The only way that 40k is scum is if he isn't Stan. He said he was and no one argued, so what else would you make of it? Add that to the fact that Chef is sending people threatening messages and add that to the fact that safari keeps bringing up bad soup and everything points to Chef, not Stan.

40k might be acting strange and not give a reason for his vote, but to me it's obvious why he voted.

Curse this terrible soup and my inability to vote anyone. I just would like to say that it's completely possible for the mod to not put in a major character and give the mafia godfather a strong fakeclaim. It's possible in a theme as large as this one. I would put more weight in player actions than I would in claims.

I agree with this mostly, except for Stan (40k), Kenny (chap), Kyle and Cartman. I'm not sure about everyone else. I'm not even sure about everyone else who's in the game except for Mr. Mackey (dead) and Chef because we got messages from him.

Chap, right now you're coming off like you and 40k are scumbuddies because you won't entertain the idea that a major character could a)not be in the game or b)not be town
Safari's possibility about having a "strong fakeclaim for a godfather" isn't out of the realm of possibility, and it's important that we don't write off anybody too quickly.

That said, we seem to have a few submariners who should probably pop up about now to pitch into the conversation.

I understand coming off like that, but I'm also claiming that the other 2 are with townies as well. It's not like I'm saying it's just the 2 of us. We just don't know who the others are right now. You keep investigating into 40k if you want to, but he's good by me.

The reason I won't entertain the idea that Stan isn't in the game is because I already said that I know he is in the game. And I know he's town. The same with the other boys. Do I know for sure that 40k is Stan? No. But he did claim and there was no one to counter claim. So if he's not Stan, then whoever is Stan is being a dummy. That's why I believe him.

So you have actual concrete knowledge of Stan? Do you mind if I ask how?

Part of my role the mod gave me. That's how I know that all the boys are in the game.

How on earth does that fit into a role PM?

I raised that possibility because I know that when I design games, I tend to leave a few clear cut town roles out to give mafia a fighting chance (See Terminator Mafia, Sarah Connor from T2 was not in the game).

I'm not sure why you would know the other boys are in the game from the role unless there's a 4 man mason group or something, which seems a bit OP in this game. Although I have to say, there is a possibility of Cartman not being town, so you might not have a completely town mason group, but again, it's highly unlikely.

TA1LGUNN3R has been prodded.

Also, I would do a Vote Count, but my mouse is behaving weird (making copy/pasting almost impossible). I'll try and do one tomorrow. (If someone else would like to do one for me, you're more than welcomed to).

That reaction was incredibly interesting. Why do you jump to the conclusion that I'm a player that might be anti-town and then basically FoS me for no reason? It was a 50:50 chance. Why choose Cartman?

FoS 40k

I'm not going to fully claim yet. There is no reason to. I've prevented us going off on a tangent, which is fairly good proof that I'm pro-town. I said what I did to keep us on track.

Oh my. You guys are all going crazy right now.

40k and evil, get along. We can't believe that evil is anyone yet, but he is trying to get us on track.

lala, how about you give us proof of something or say something significant? All you've been doing is asking everyone else to give proof of things that they say.

Yes 40k, the question is why? evil is quite correct there is a 50/50 chance it's him or not. So why jump to the conclusion he is unless you have information the rest of us don't?

FOS means- Finger of suspicion. Basically a way of making sure the rest of us will pay attention as although evil isn't voting you yet, he feels like your playstyle is warranting a vote on you even though you've claimed. And although I won't vote you either as you have claimed, your playstyle is a little randon dude, no offense.

Its a guess. 50% im right %0% im wrong, so i guessed it was him

I guess i should of said fos evilchaos

now maybe its not him, but im thinking he is. He keeps asking other people for proof, but as soon as i make some conclusion he looks back at the guy who makes it. that dosent look funny to any of you?

I'm still confused about this self-imposed PR, although I suppose it doesn't really matter in the scheme of things?

And 40k, I don't see how it's a bad thing that I'm asking questions and trying to fully understand what people are saying here. It's helping us understand the structure of the game more fully, and make sure that we aren't making hasty decision on who to/not to lynch.
