Obama specifically mentioned the restaurant being an indirect beneficiary of his bailout of the automakers. A couple days after that mention, the store announces it was closing. If Obama hadn't tried to take credit for the business's perceived success, then he wouldn't have even been mentioned when the store announced it was closing.
