yeah, but still, i mean 5 max? i have 3 games that are going, but slowly, and i know i am able to handle more, so i can waste even more of my time here. should there be a system that after so many completed games it lets you have more games running at once? and even though some of those games are going slow, i still want to keep them, not drop them.
Yeah, I'd like to be able to play more than 5 at once myself, but I have a feeling it's more of a bandwidth issue than anything else. Maybe if we flooded the site with annoying pop-ups we could play as many as we wanted at once, eh?
not as many as we wanted, because then some people will join every game they see, and then you have one person, though he/she may be on here a lot, just not enough to concentrate on all the games s/he has going at once.
It seems like not being able to concentrate on as many things at once as you need to be is more of a personal problem than anything else... and those people would be easy pickins for those of us who CAN play that many games at once.
IMO, however, I don't think that playing 20 games at once makes sense unless at least a few of those are timed.
i was reading it thinking that they had changed the set up and now people could play 5 games with out going premium. Freaked me out! I need a CC history lesson i suppose.
Back in the day there were not enough players to guarantee open games on the join screen. I wanted new signups to be able to find a game to join, so I would start 6 person games myself when necessary. Of course I soon filled up my quota so I increased it temporarily to 10 (premium didn't exist)
Then I got smarter and started games, waited until people joined, and dropped out! Eventually I programmed the join screen to automatically create one empty game if there aren't any.
how wierd. today we have 5 pages of open games. This site keeps expanding and growing in good ways. Do you have a IPO date set, or our you going to remain privately owned?
This old-thread-bumping business is actually quite interesting, sometimes. Like this one. Amazing to think Lackattack actually had to make the site seem busier than it actually was. Bloody Nora.
