While preparing to leave on the journey out west Dead Residence lived up to his name. The Wagon Party Dysentery came to find him in order that they may embark on their journey but found instead that Dead Residence was dead - in his residence. No one knows quite what happened but from the fact that his house was empty of all valuables and he himself was stripped to the undies - one can only assume he fell victim to a bandit who was having himself a bad day. The Wagon Party Dysentery went ahead and left on their journey - one man short.
RIPDead Residence
Psycho Warrior may have been the bandit who struck Dead Residence dead had he not broken his own leg just a few days prior. Yes, he was loading up the ol' wagon, he had it packed to the brim. "Tools there, food over there, spare parts here" He says to himself. "It is all there!" he went over his checklist to ensure that was true and noticed he had not packed a spare wheel to the wagon. He grabbed one and tossed it up there right above the tools and beside the linen. "Excellent toss!" He thought till the load, linens and all, started to tumble towards him. He mostly got out of the way, but he couldn't dodge the wheel. The wheel came down with a force that broke his leg. Unfortunately for Psycho Warrior his journey out west was over. The Wagon Party Foxtrot simply decided not to put up with such a troubled member and banished him from the wagon. Psycho Warrior being in great debt with most any body who was somebody in Independence decided that if he couldn't go out west then he would try his luck going to a better place and was heard from never again.
RIPPsycho Warrior

Nope, your powers of observation have not failed you. The standings will be put up shortly in order for the winners of the Lost on the trail games can choose who to take points from. Patience - but thanks for bringing it up.
It's been a long journey so far but thanks for toughing it out. The tournament will progress but initiating a tie point system. The tie points will be award as an average of the positions being competed for. For example, if there are three players left then 1st, 2nd and 3rd are still be competed for - when the tie breaker rule takes effect everyone will be rewarded 12 points. (15 + 12 + 10 = 37 / 3 = 12.3). Effective 8/22/11 10PM EST. This gives anyone in any game about an extra turn or so to make a move if they so desire. Good luck as we are about to get back on the road again.
Great news! The standings have been updated and the next stage is being sent out tonight. There have been a few slight changes to the tournament to make it run better. This is my first tournament with this structure so thank you for your patience as I am trying to make this the most enjoyable for you.
First, all no card games have been changed to escalating to prevent such long delays as we were just experiencing.
Second, "Lost on the Trail" games will be structured the same but instead of stealing points the winner will automatically be granted 6 points.
Third, "Suffering from Fatigue" games will not be 1v1. They will now be made up of all players who do not make the minimum point requirement split into equal groups. The winner of each group is granted immunity from elimination for that wagon check.
Now for what you all have been eagerly awaiting. Here are the players who have passed the first wagon check: (This list includes the winners of the Lost on the Trail games)
Now those who are on the edge of elimination and the players they will playing against. This list includes points gained from Lost on the Trail games.
Game 1 Alt Ianphull B00060 Joeaggie General Brock II Bonobo
Game 2 Alexander_GR Calicus RGJoey iFlankU Seamusk Clankerr
Game 3 Faresmotors Captain Morgan V.J. RPShawn RJHankey JJMRacing
Any questions or concerns please do PM me as that will be the best way to get in touch. As always, I hope you are enjoying the tournament. These changes will make it better and more enjoyable. Good luck!
After the second wagon-check groups that have four or less players left will be combined.
The thirteenth and last stop will be used as a final, with the 8 top-scoring players in the preceeding 12 stops. Because the groups have a greatly different number of players, the scoring will be unfair, so we will not carry points over to the final. Whoever wins the final wins the tournament.
