Let's deal with this "We now know", as the author, as well as many others say, that "gay-ness" or homosexuality is an inherent, unchangeable part of who a person is. We do not "know" any such thing.

This is a case of "the big lie". You say something that is not true, and you repeat it enough, with enough boldness, and people believe it. The lie is that homosexuality is a "kind of people" like racial or ethnic groups, and therefore arguments concerning racial or ethnic discrimination are applicable. We are brainwashed by the media into believing so, but it is definitely not proven.

In fairness, the number of homosexuals I've known in my life is less than 20...that's an incredibly small sample size. Of course, it's pretty wide-ranging in that I've lived all over the United States, so different areas were accounted for, as well as several who were in the military from different backgrounds.

Honestly, no. I'm not open-minded enough to read things trying to prove that the earth is flat, or about how dinosaurs are just a theory, or that money grows on trees, etc - unless for entertainment value. Maybe I'll do it for that purpose later.

It's my overall opinion however, that whatever word people call gays is going to wind up offensive. I am very surprised the Hword even qualifies. I thought it was the scientific name.
