Ok joshy, coming from a former moderator who left due to a C&A report i dont think you have the right to talk about the current group. Also given your history with eddie2 in whatever clan it was you clearly dont have the ability to offer an objective viewpoint on just about any issue. Its very telling that your still harbor resentment for all of these past events. I think the mods do the best in a tough environment, and lets be honest only about 5 of them are involved in decision making for forum punishments so you as a former moderator should both know that and not act like things are different.

He provided a pretty good and lengthy explanation pretty early in this thread. It was ignored, although I believe someone chose a sentence from it to respond to.

see how many of the 52 that voted YES have the same isp and how many of the 67 that voted NO have the same isp

There are 29 Bandits. I don't know 75% of them or more. The same goes for the % that post in the Bandits forum. I'm guessing that they have no idea what is happening with Owen. A good guess I think. The forum posters know Owen well and those that don't like him are not going to be shy about voting against him regardless of the merits in this case. He's pissed off a lot of people. If you take that in to account then the vote total should absolutely be against him. What is remarkable is how many are supporting him or rather are against this action against him. Claiming he got votes because of his clan mates is ridiculous. Hell, I've been annoyed at some of his posts like I have been with jeffjeff and many others. I think the the vote totals so far reflect that this has been heavy handed and dogmatic and that there is no reasonable explanation for it to have been so. If this is anything it is a call to reason. Did his posts really upset so many people that he had to receive a punishment? Taking away his private messaging was necessary?
