wouldnt it be better to give 2nd round slot to some lucky loosers from round 1 instead of just give bye to legion?

maybe random draw? or give the slot to the ones who lost 1st round with the lowest score difference?

I am here just spectator, but in the spirit of the challenge I think it is better to play vs anyone than to play vs noone and just get bye.

I just logged in and saw this. I pm'd Dako and corresponded with him briefly. All I can say is that we at the Legion are disappointed that we will not get to face one of our favorite clans at this time. We would also like to wish the best of luck to TOFU and its members. As far as the format is concerned, we are willing to do whatever the TO requests. Thanks.

Bastards were scared of our KOALAS.. they eat veggie stuff.. so TOFU was goin to be a delicacy for them!.. AHHH.. so disappointed.. but I know we instill fear in the best of them... Best wishes to TOFU..

The original Tournament documentation states that a drop-out after the start of the round results in a walkover victory.

I'm sticking with that for practical reasons and because Legion have alread won a game in he first round rather than profiting from a bye as some clans did.

Classy response Nick, thanks (and from Culs). I think on the basis you guys already had to win the prelim to get through then getting a bye now is gaining nothing more than we were granted in the first place.

Sorry DJ that we had to withdraw, but better now than halfway through a challenge or further into the tourney.
