So I was off having a baby while most of this was going down and I just made the time to read this thread. Since my time is especially precious to me right now, I'll just say that I'm a member of the entertainment team, a discussions mod, and a proud bandit. Surely my mere existence offers some hope for the future.

since his ban, the BpB contest was thrown for a loop, the GD has become home of "andy vs." threads, there is a flame thread in the GD about assholes on CC, rbelgrod is openly flaming owen without any repercussions, and a new breed of lower troll has emerged right along side the standard positive comment only CC mod trolls. 6 posts in 16 hours. kind of funny that andy set a new standard which is being abused left and right in the GD without anyone else taking a hit for trolling. way to go CC, keep it classy.

i always thought he got his ban for the way he responded to InsomniaRed's situation but as they couldn't officially slam him for that they grabbed the next best thing.

And what about accounting for the frequency of infractions by one user?

Owenshooting was repeatedly acting belligerent, which explains why the mods behave in such a way. jbrett's examples are one-time instances (although I agree that the two Andy v. threads are lame, they're not nearly as negative).

Can't you people see that more is involved?

Or is this more typical bullshit in order to justify petty and unreasonable complaints?

I've never had an issue with King A or Andy, have always had good interactions with them even when I was getting warned, but really now is this site better off now that the "Entertainment" mods can have the modteam groupies kiss their asses for a weaksauce non-reward raffle without having to deal with a critical thinker funkslinging his magniloquent prose? I miss my friend, because most of the rest of you are whiny ass bitches and he's one of the few who helps me hope in humanity and prevents me from telling you all what I really think of you.
