Didn't even know they had tourney's back in 2006! But since 2006 players nominated tourney hosts from that time, lets see who is the most well known... not expecting this poll to bring in many votes but we will see... only player I have heard of would be HighBorn so I am guessing he might win this one.

Well I meant before the poll's and before I made this thread of course
AK_iceman won "Most well known tourney host" of 2006 with a total of 3 votes! others followed behind with 2, 1 and 0! LOL... hope this next poll is more exciting... I am going to skip most well known posters for 2006 is we only have 2 nominees, they can both be most well known posters of 2006!
Next poll is "Most well known "trouble maker" of 2006... lots of recognizable names here.. gl fellas!
I also have a sneaking suspicion AK_iceman won not because of his tournaments, but because his name is the most recognizable...
Yea I think your right about the tourney winner, but I think the further the years are away, the less will vote, especially when its something like tourney maker of 2006... but when the dates come closer and closer to the current year, more will vote for those they know and think are the most well known for each categories, and like many 2006 players have said already, they just can't remember anymore what happened in 2006! LOL

but yet not everyone will which will make it remain lopsided...
(Are you also definitely certain all these were definitely trouble-makers in '06?)

yup... gotta agree with KB on this one...
dugcarr1 was one serious trouble maker, and most entertaining too...
i think he might have even been the 1st to be forever permabanned,
in fact, to this day the restraining order Blitz fought so hard for is still in effect...
Leehar ;LOL! This is a list that people in this thread nominated themselves to be in those categories... I have no clue if they were trouble makers or not, I was not around then, but if the 2006 people put them up for nomination then I guess them must have been a little naughty! and looking at the 2 posts above, looks like 1 player was extra naughty!
The difference is: BK's a cool dude with strong "opinions" (lol).....Duggy actively tried to bribe (yes, bribe) people, threatened everyone he came in contact with, tried to set up hit squads to ruin certain players CC lives, and on and on....damn he was a pill. He was my second foe, but it was just too entertaining so he was unfoed....lol.
What was the group he set up to screw people he hated.....the Spanking Monkeys? For $10, they would focus on a player, harassing them into extinction.....lol.

Here are a few quotes that should give you a little snapshot into the infamy of Dugcarr1

one thing he isnt is boring...or modest

And of course, there were the troubles between Blitz and Dug...

Off the subject, GET YOUR FUCKING FACTS STR8 about gator and I, and stop spreading fucking LIES cause of your dam jealousy.
My ranking was over 3500, it was 3528 before I ever even teamed with gator. he pm'd me and wanted to play doubles, so i am mentoring him, we played about 10 to 12 games, my ranking is now 3412, I LOST OVER 100 FUCKING points since then, so how the f*ck is he helping me, you tell me that???????? How??? Anyway you slice it, IT is fucking hurting me as evidenced by my over 100 point drop in rank, but he wants some help, so I said sure, we will team in some games, but my score is down, you understand?? COMPRENDE AMIGO??
Last, Congrats on your ranking! I like you Dug, and you are dam funny at times, but I dislike the LIES spread, there is NO need for that. Thank You for your understanding hopefully, respects, Blitzer
thanks for ruining the magic / my moment of glory.
your like roommate who takes a gross greasy shit so loud that i here it right before i blow my load on my women. and then i go limp becasue i herd and smelt your poop. lol
what lies sir???...... see my other posts if u want to discus u teaming with 4 different partners with a score under 700 in over dozens and dozens of games.
congats on u being first....see page 25 on scoreboard,,, someone has a score off 320 points,,perfect for u
i miss johnnysprocket24.

Nice Robinette, its funny seeing Blitz getting so upset at this guy... who knows, he might still be playing CC, just under a diff name... like..di...... nahhh forget it.

You remember any funny posts from BK?

oh sure, BK had some good ones, but not in 2006.
He joined late in the year and only had a dozen or so posts, 1st being in late november.
Which kinda makes me wonder why he is even on a 2006 list anyway
But it makes sense that he has a high vote tally even though he wasn't a factor then just because more people know him from his more recent years of posting... while dug has been completely absent for 4 1/2 years.
I think Jota will probably win this, though I recall Marv being up there as well, since his Brazil map was popular among those looking to move off the Classic map.

there's no doubt about that one.
