He led the Swedish army (probably the most advanced army in the world at the time) into battle during the Thirty Years' War, and died during a victory. I started using Saint Anger a few years ago (after the metallica album). It just seems like a cool name.
It shortened to Anger and I use that whenever it hasn't been taken, but occasionally I use St Anger, Saint or even ikari (japanese translation of Anger).
