This is only my second tourney, so please be patient (some of the others are SOOOO professional looking!):
Visit Europe. . .at least TWICE before you are knocked out. Yes, this tourney is based on EuropA. Great map, lots of little bonuses. But there is a twist, the 2 guaranteed games are NOT against the same player. . .read on (Standings and Details below)
Comments:
-two pools of players -- seeded around Featured Players (ImissSCca, dazerazer, Tracy_bangs_Rob, jshebib)*
-Each round: play 2 games in that round - one from each pool (only 20 rounds) based on Seedings; Final round best 2 of 3**
-you can lose a game and maybe still advance: win 2 games and progress -- or win 1 game and closest loss (number or armies, etc) progress, or if split -- tie goes to who won in fewest rounds. NOTE: MORE CREDIT IF WON IN SECOND TURN OF ROUND -- AFTER OPPONENT PLAYED (harder than going first)
-limited to recent Captains and below (proof within last 10 games)
-unused reserves from my first tournament will get first dibs in entering this second tournament of mine -- but not guaranteed, so hurry and sign up!
-may add slots to first round (>16 -- only if necessary) to accommodate invited players that sign up after first 16 (to assure their inclusion)

Clarifications (advised that these items are not clear enough above:
* two pools of players -- seeded around Featured Players (ImissSCca, dazerazer, Tracy_bangs_Rob, etc.).
-FP's will be seeded 1-4, 1+4 in pool 1, 2+3 in pool 2.
-other players seeded 5-16? based on recent scores; 1/2 in pool 1 other 1/2 in pool 2
**Each round: play 2 games at once - one from each pool (only 20 rounds) based on Seedings; Final round best 2 of 3
-round 1-3: 2 games -- NOT with same player. 1 game in pool based on brackets, 2nd game with similar seeded person in OTHER pool (2nd is crosss pool play)
-round 4 Finals: best 2 of 3 -- if needed 3rd
-advance from round 1 based on: need a win or 2; win 2 you advance, no questions; lose 2 you are out no questions; win one you MAY advance -- if your loss was closest to winning (based on Rounds played, then Armies, etc.). Several people with 1 win and 1 loss will advance.
- IF reserve used after the first round AND they advance to finals and win -- MUST WIN 4 rounds BEFORE winning tournament (to prevent unfair advantage). Hence, WINNER MUST "win*" 4 tourney rounds -- not just 2-3, etc. First player to "win" 4 tourney ROUNDS wins.
-the whole idea is to not lose one game and be out, but give you a chance to advace if you win at least one -- and do well in other.
