[GP] Increase to 12 Players

while 12 is a nice number, it will be hard to do on most maps, as they're quite small.

however with the new supsersize maps comming, 12 players might be doable in the near future.

Doodle Earth is a bad map for 8 players yet it's probably one of the most fun gametypes.

People can choose whether or not they want to play on a small map with 12 people. I call making the first 12 player assdoodle when the 12 player upgrade comes out in 2015.

BS. Most CC maps are more than capable of accommodating 12 players. In fact, any standard gameplay map with at least 36 territories would play just fine.

Ok yeah, some maps wouldn't play so well, so what? We have maps that are only playable for 6 players (feudal, aor etc)... yet we still have 8 player games and you can play them on most maps. It's the same thing here.

Can I get a confirmation on how high this is on Lack's to-do list? I understand it is a grueling process, but this is supported by 80% of voters in this thread and most of CC would like to see this implemented, I'm very sure of that.

And for start its will be much safe that for games with 12 players people pay entrance,lets say 1$ per game,these could bring faster implementation of these sugestion

I have no clue. I'm hoping that if they do increase the players, then 4 team triples, 3 team quads, 5v5 and 6v6 games come available.

Well, that can't happen until the number of players is increased to at least nine. It is patently something people would try, once this suggestion is implemented (if it ever is).

I'm pretty sure this suggestion had already been made, so I apologize for bringing it back and mostly for my laziness to check it...

But I think it would be a good idea to increase the number of players to 9, in order to make triple games with 3 teams. It could be an exception (9 players) for only triple games....

Excellent suggestion. Seems like something that would be on the to do list.

If I had the chance to implement one game play feature it would be this. Raise it to 12 players, and we can have quintruples and sextruples or whatever it's called. There are other things I'd do first but this is the most important gameplay feature.
