At KOA with any new clan member, before acceptance we ask multihunters to run a check on their account.
Maybe time to consider a new policy, and run a check on ur existing members.
Very true.
I had a friend who I tried to get into KOA and he had a multi and I didn't realize it. Poor Mark. Wish he was still able to play with me.
Very true. I was hoping to get chap busted but he slid thru... lol.
The hunters are very helpful in checking potential recruits. They are also thorough and very careful on determining if there is something wrong. I've seen them take many days to make a bust. It's a pretty sure thing when they do pull the trigger.
Good job and many thanks ES!

For those who are saying rommel is innocent, let me say that, yes, he seems like a nice person, but he's guilty of being a multi. I used to play a lot of doubles with him (as rommel), and trips sometimes with him and bri12388 or him and russian devil. At one point he admitted he used another account (monkey777) that was allegedly his son's. I thought that was all until I joined my clan. Rommel and I were both going to join but he got busted as a multi. He apologized to me for that since I now had suspicion cast upon me via association and said it wouldn't happen again. Apparently that wasn't the case.
Again, seemed like a nice guy, but he did cheat. And he continued to cheat even after getting busted once. No need to get mad at anyone but him.
Fact of the matter is, the almighty multi tool does make mistakes. I'm not saying in either Phulish's or Rommel's case that there was a mistake made, but for Semp to simply say it doesn't make mistakes is ludicrous. I have seen plenty of cases that players were falsely accused, banned, unbanned, and in some cases banned again. Not all multis are actually family members or co workers when they claim to be, I get that. But the multi tool does make mistakes. I suppose that is what E-Tickets are for, though.
This thread really isn't going anywhere, and will eventually (sooner than later) be locked. I think all parties involved should work on suggestions on how to fix this problem for clans. I'm positive we're not the first clan to take a hit from players getting bans, and we surely won't be the last. We may deserve the handicaps we now have to deal with in some of our games, a game loss here or there isn't that big of a deal. But when a player is in 12 games in a clan war, and say we're to lose all of those games, that digs our hole and shoves us in it. It ruins the entire war.

KOA and several other clans already have their members and leaders periodically multi checked and any potential recruit checked before admittance. It's all done with a simple PM or E-Ticket and in a couple three days you get the answer.
As for multi's kicked during a clan war. O well. Most often it will be a loss for who ever the cheater played for. Thats the RISK of playing wars.

OID please use the comment I made in its whole context. The multi tool gives us information and we have to evaluate it, we are the ones who make the final decision.
I'm not over reacting and i don't have a beef with the mods, my beef is with the system which is flawed and needs to be fixed. How can we ever improve something without debating, putting all the cards on table and find a solution? How can I ever know who's a multi or not when he joins my game? I'm not going call the mods every time a game starts that ridiculous, nor shall I be punished and every other honest member when a multi is busted.
We all seen this scenario: Quads game Team 1 friends for a long time know each other very well
Team 2 : 2 honest real people newbies want to learn to play teams
team 1 creates bogus accounts and join team 2
Now Team 1 kicks ass and don't get caught. Hooray!
Now what happens to the other 2 honest from team 2 members? Well they get the shaft and that what happens too often.
It's not like we know who the multis are and who don't from the start. When we find them, we boot them, and the other accounts as well. If your scenario happens, Team 2 gets the shaft in only one game; the guys from Team 1 will be gone forever. If you suspect that the people on your team may be multis, then report it!

It took years to catch rommel, it's a little more then 1 game that was affected.

Yeah, all the games he played in. Multi cheaters running rampant for that long do affect a lot of games. Very good point.

Well if no one catches on to them being multis, how are the mods supposed to know about it?
As leader of the Mythology clan i thought i should post here just to clear some things up. I understand that several members of our clan have posted here, and i'm not going to say anything against what they've posted, while i may agree with some of what they've said, we have the utmost respect for the mods/CD's/multi hunters, they do a great job on this site and do the best they can with the tools they are given. While it is unfortunate that Rommel has been found out to be a multi i want to clear up. First, We have all members of the mythology clan checked periodically for multi accounts, i've had that done for the last two years because we had a multi once before. second, in the rommel case, he was accused of being a multi once before, and cleared of it, he convinced CC that the accounts were his kids accounts, and i was convinced as well that they were only his kids accounts, not his being a multi, i know this because he told me about it before joining the clan, and because i had him checked out by a hunter. Unfortunately he duped us all, he didn't use those accounts for quite some time, then recently started using them again, hence he broke the rules and deserves to be perma-banned. He's been kicked out of the Clan and will never get back. what concerns me is that he sent me an email stating that he has another account, it's a general and over 3000 points, but he didn't tell me the name, so he's still on here, and should be hunted and banned for ever. I won't stand for cheats, and none of us should, period.
As far as the comments about the phulish case, apparently a couple of years ago phulish was accused and convicted of major violation, i was not privy to the details of it then nor now, but that is why when quit those games he got a one month suspension, he'll serve it out and be back when it's over, lesson learned.

Now I feel like a big a$$... trying to protect rommel.. I had no idea of any of the previous offenses on him. I would like to extend an extreme apology to everyone if I had offend you.. even if rommel was cleared I would not have wanted to offend anyone,... I am glad to hear more about the ease of getting the clan checked for multi's and know that this is something that is regularly done by other clans...
Give a man a fish and he'll eat for a day. Teach him to phish and he'll charge your credit card for lunch forever.
If he is a multi then he should get the boot. Obviously we (myth) do not solicit multi to join us. We just have to get better at screening. Defending a clan member comes natural and sometimes we can too defensive.
