Technically, since it is a "1 Month" Ban, they vary in length based on the months in the calendar year (eg the amount of days in them).

It's still a month ban, but some are slightly shorter/longer than others.

I totally agree. Why would anyone assume a 1 month ban would be 30 days?

You can blame the moon about different month lengths. 31 day months outnumber 30 day months, anyway.

Actually, the lunar cycle does not vary in time. It is 29.53 days. Perhaps we could resolve this issue by resorting to a ban lasting exactly that amount of time.

Actually, I propose CC switch to "lunar time". Forget CC time. Let's really mix it up!

A 1 month ban is a 1 month ban...


a 1 month ban can be anything between 28 days and 31 days + 1 hour. (if you happen to get a ban on a 31 day month while wintertime/summertime shift)

advice to everyone: get banned on february, you'll save about 2.3864 days on average.

average month length: 30.4375 days
average February length: 28.25 days
average non-february length 30.6364 days (rounded up slightly since the 63 just loop indefinably)

true, but the average month length is still closer to 30 days then it is to 31 days, as i pointed out above.

It's November 17th, that is the day.
For REAL this time.

Let me explain, we can know the timing of Christ's second coming based on the cycles of:

* BpB feast days in the Hebrew calendar, as described in the owen's notes,
* the lunar month calendar (1 synodic month = 29.53059 days), and
* A close approximation of the Gregorian calendar tropical year (365.24219 days, rounded to 365.2422)

We project these into modern times and combine the results with other information in the forums.
Combine all of those things, and 100% for certain, an ABSOLUTE FACT,
WITH ZERO ROOM FOR ERROR, and we can see clearly that this will occur on November 17,
BEYOND A SHADOW OF A DOUBT THIS WILL POSITIVELY OCCUR ON THURSDAY... week from Saturday at the latest
