HA's Speedy Thanksgiving here are the specifications:
Games will be made over a 4 day period
20 round limit in effect
Wednesday--sometime late in the afternoon I will begin the tourney-depends on what time I get off work but you will get a pm--that same time on Sunday will end the tourney--most likely around 7pm to 7pm for four straight days
So far all my speed tourneys seem to be a success and I want to keep the momentum going--eventually having speed nights on a weekly basis kind of like bowing league night or something like that--used to do foosball tourneys three times a week so if we have the players we can do things like that.
The player with the best win percentage wins the tourney--if there is a tie best head to head will be considered the winner. If three players or more players tie with the same percentage and there is not a clear winner they will play a round robin one game against each remaining player until there is a clear winner--these games will have to be the 24 hour variety but I will hope they can real time--only in case of an unbreakable tie will 24 hour games be made.
For this tourney you will have to play at least 20 random 1v1 speed games in a 96 hour(4 days) period. The minimum is 20 games but there is no maximum.
A General Achievement Medal will be given to the player that wins the most games--this is to entice a lot of play. (if approved) worked well last time
You may not play the same player more than 7 times--I will penalize the player who joins-so the green player--if joining to make the game count between two players go above 7 games. Any series between players that passes 7 games will not count for both players, but the player who made the mistake of joining will have one win taken away on their percentage.
Unfortunately since this is speed --if something happens causing you to lose it has to count--I was trying to figure out something fair but have been unable to think of a good solution.
