I was wondering if there was a widget for greasemonkey or similar program....that provides a scroll bar or some form of in game monitoring to scroll back and forward in a games history whether it be ongoing or completed (and as you scroll u see the countries and armies change appropriately).
Correct me if im wrong...but one has to take snapshots throughout the game and then he/she can view those snapshots after the game is done?
Is this the only program that offers such a recording feature? A simple scrollbar tool would be much more efficient imho....but I guess this will do if its the only one available.
You can view the snapshots at any time after you take them, you do not need to wait for the game to be completed. But yes, you have to manually take the snapshots, and then they are saved on your computer. There is no program that can automatically record the games progress as the log does not contain enough information to reconstructed the game. An expansion to be game log to contain this information has been on the to do list for like over 4 years, but shows no signs of being able to be implemented in the foreseeable future. I think it could be possible for something to be created that takes snapshots like BOB automatically whenever you view the game so you don't have to remember to hit the button yourself, but that is probably the extent of such a tool that could be created at the present state.
