With 14 alive it takes 8 to lynch.
Deadline: I think I made this first deadline a little too short. So I'll be extending it to Friday Dec. 9th.
It is always a good thing when I am not too pretentious; I actually make sense.chapcrap wrote:What 2112 said. All I did was point out a mistake and say it wasn't important.
Yes, please do. On another note, not that I take this vote too seriously since it is only D1 and everyone is throwing votes around quicker than half price chicken wings sell out on food stamp day.Mr. Squirrel wrote:Care to actually explain one of your votes for once, sully?Victor Sullivan wrote:unvote vote TheGeneral2112

I'm glad to hear that we are now talking about feelings. I can understand why you have no concrete evidence to back this up, since I didn't even vote TeeGee or anything. To be honest, I don't recall who my vote is on ATM, but it is probably just a joke vote anyway. Back to our feelings, Sully... Can you show me where I am trying to have a townie lynched? Ya' know, by like, oh my gawd, quoting what I totally like said instead of just, oh my gawd, throwing around rumors. Because if you keep throwing around like these totally fake rumors then maybe like, oh my gawd, you should back them up or we will totally throw rumors and lies around about like you.Victor Sullivan wrote:I suppose it's only fair.
I feel like TheGeneral is using a scapegoat-type method to get TeeGee lynched. It was clearly a newb mistake and didn't have any malicious intent. I feel like TheGeneral is just using it as an excuse to get a townie lynched.

I can understand Victor questioning 2112, but frankly he just looks a little pressured and isn't so used to the effect his words have. Unlike you Victor, you know exactly what you are doing. That's what I call passive aggressive but it's aggressive all the same!
As to TeeGee making an edit, you are playing Johnny-come-lately Isaiah. I was there and saw the before and after. So, for the benefit of all, the first was ...
unvote vote chapcrap
and the second ...
unvote vote chapcrap
Now, for those of you who are skimming, 2112 voted for chap. And chap (and I) saw the vote change. Chap mentioned it, and 2112 explained. Given chap had the greatest reason to pursue this and now chooses not to, unfortunately, I can find nothing useful here in this!!
But Chap said ...
chapcrap wrote:Why unvote TeeGee when he has given us nothing? All he did was show up. That's not enough to take my vote off.
So, again for the skimmers, I started some pressure on TeeGee because of his silence. Once he had spoken up I considered that I had no reason to pursue that pressure by way of a vote. I appreciate, Isaiah, that you are asking more of TeeGee and I agree we have little information to go on at this time, certainly not enough to clear TeeGee one way or the other!
There is now some fractionation of voting and discussion, which later I reckon will be telling as to who is on who's side and why! For now FOS Victor, either explain that you are skimming in your vote or you are the proverbial fly in the ointment!
I don't really care if you think it is OMGUS. I don't care if it is perceived by you as a scumtell. I am just calling it like I see it. Albeit, since I don't have an overwhelming stash of information, it is only an assumption. I'm not going to address all your ifs, but this only adds to the questions I want answered.Victor Sullivan wrote:See, now that's borderline OMGUS, General, and that could be perceived as a scumtell.
As far as my accusation and mentioning of TeeGee as town is concerned, it's essentially an if...then statement. Given the evidence, I hypothesized that TheGeneral2112 was mafia, and thus if he is, in fact, mafia, he likely then trying to lynch a townie. In this case, TeeGee. I'm just saying it's likely TeeGee is town if TheGeneral2112 is mafia, given TheGeneral's aggression toward him.

Granted, you responded, like so:Mr. Squirrel wrote:The rules are meant to make mafia fun and playable, not to be wielded like a weapon. If teegee's edit was harmless, then don't worry about it. No need to get all aggressiveTheGeneral2112 wrote:I would almost vote teegee on principle after that faux pau.
You were being aggressive and still are being aggressive, except toward me, and now you're far more aggressive than you were then. Your lack of voting TeeGee just means your intentions were a little less obvious. And I must say, your aggressiveness really isn't helping you.TheGeneral2112 wrote:Why are you accusing me of being aggressive? I didn't FOS him, didn't vote him, made a harmless comment. As a result you quote me, criticize me, and call me aggressive? FOS, Squirrel, FOS...![]()
*Sighs* I asked you to back up your claims. You didn't. You merely quoted someone else. I asked you to back up your claims that I am trying to get TeeGee lynched and that I am being aggressive toward TeeGee. You haven't shown that. My vote stays on you, and hopefully others will see that you are avoiding a real answer as well.Victor Sullivan wrote:How about this?Granted, you responded, like so:Mr. Squirrel wrote:The rules are meant to make mafia fun and playable, not to be wielded like a weapon. I've had a careful read through and am now satisfied that Victor intentionally steered the heat away from Chap. TheGeneral wasn't attacking TeeGee when Victor posted this, he was attacking Chap! As far as I know, the only players whoo know each other are Mafia so I reckon that Victor wsa trying to save his scummie mate. It's a coin toss for me, but let's go for Victor for now. Perhaps Victor can explain himself? Naught out's like pressure! I was getting the same feeling. But before I vote, Sully needs to explain himself a little better rather than "if's" and "maybe's". I feel that he is hiding something sinister deep within himself. So please Sully tell us all, and explain yourself thoroughly.thehippo8 wrote:I've had a careful read through and am now satisfied that Victor intentionally steered the heat away from Chap. Hope everything turns out all right! Fortunately for the game, I have reserves.Conzocool wrote:I apologize for my inactivity; I had a family emergency arise, and I will not be able to get on Conquer Club for an indefinitely long time. Note: This was copied and pasted to all of my mafia games.
I just said what I was thinking. Day 1 we've got nothing to go off of but ifs and maybes. TheGeneral just blew the whole thing out of proportion.isaiah40 wrote:I was getting the same feeling. You made claims you were asked to back up. You didn't back those claims up. You basically made something up to try and get people to bandwagon me. Pretty scummy IMHO.Victor Sullivan wrote:I just said what I was thinking. Day 1 we've got nothing to go off of but ifs and maybes. How am I supposed to back anything up Day 1?? I already told you they were assumptions and that TheGeneral's actions continue to convince me he is scum, perhaps because he responded to my relatively weak argument with such hostility. Seems extremely defensive to me. Too much so.isaiah40 wrote:vote Sully for not backing up his supposed assumptions. Sounds scummy to me.
I think 2112's mistakes may be attributed to being new to the mafia forum. However, I do agree that he got super defensive. And from my point of view it was something that wasn't even directed at him.Victor Sullivan wrote:How am I supposed to back anything up Day 1??
