Well usually docs can't protect themselves. I don't know how Edoc does it but I have in one game allowed the doc a one-time only self-protect. I have to think we have a secondary protective role of some kind if not a busdriver.

Yahweh looked at Satan.

Malice disturbed the lesser gods today. Your followers are attempting to work from within, to turn them against each other. This will not work, they know you to be the enemy you are.

Do not be so certain of your chosen, today was just a small step in a greater strategy. I have taught them the meaning of fear. I have taught them to fear on another. They will not be as quick to come to one another's defense as they did last time we played this game of mortal pawns.

Yahweh looked to the world beneath his feet.

His words were confident, but his heart was not. Everything rode on this contest, he was no longer as certain he believed it was as good an idea as he once did. Perhaps it was possible for good to succumb to evil even if faith and courage remained strong.

It is now night, please send all night actions to Mr. S, he will be coordinating them. Night will ideally be 3 days in length.

Apollo had sat and watched the sun slowly set. In his heart he knew it was the last time he would see it in all its splendor. The sun passed and he waited, waited for the inevitable turning of fate.

A few hours passed and a sound broke Apollo's meditation. coming from the shadows there was the sound of quite the commotion, as if several people stumbled into each other blindly in the dark. After a moment a lone figure appeared from the shadows. A Titan strode forward. "In your arrogance you cast us down, and in your folly you ignored the threat we remained to you. Come, the chained god welcomes you into his embrace."

Knowing his time was at an end Apollo Bowed his head and waited for his fate. The chained god was swift, in a lethal motion broke Apollo's neck, nearly tearing his head from his shoulders.

Chapcrap ~ Apollo, Doctor, has been killed.

It is now Day 2, 10 alive 6 to lynch.

Chained God seems to be Kronos (no surprise) as part of his punishment was to carry a chain. Could also be Prometheus as he was chained to a rock for giving mortals fire but that's less likely. also :(

Forget what I said. The part about Cronos appears to have been from an unreliable source.

If we have a town watcher, we should be able to get one scum down (you watched Chap like I told you, right?!). If you do have someone you are sure is scum now, you don't have to instantly claim. Maybe you can let the day go on and get that person killed without having to claim?

This advice also goes to the cop if he also got a guilty. Maybe you can let the day go on and get that person killed without having to claim?

Ultimately, though, if you are a watcher that saw Chap's killer or a cop that got a guilty, your responsibility is to make sure the person you saw/investigated is dead by the end of the day. Try to play without claiming, but if you can't lead town towards the goal, fix it up by claiming.

Would that be wikipedia ;). Anyone wasn't Kronos sent in pieces to Tartarus. Note to mod you need to adjust first post title becuase it says 11/11 and chap needs to be on a dead list. Lets hope we have a watcher who saw who killed chapcrap.

I went back and looked at the end of Day 1 posting, and I really couldn't see anyone who forced chap to claim. He sort of did that himself for reasons yet unknown.

But he did believe in pressuring jonty, so I'll use that as the starting point. Pending some sort of investigative claim of course.

chapcrap wrote:I already explained this before. We were pressuring Vio because of supposed inactiveness at other times in mafia and on the site as a whole. With that as the predecessor, I saw no reason to not pressure jonty into a claim since we were basically just pressuring for no reason anyway.
He was pressuring me as I was at L-2. This was 2 jokevotes and Vio proving her role. So you believe that this was right by following a dead man's wishes

And you said this yesterday
saf wrote:I believe him wanting to pressure jonty is basically a symptom of chap not wanting to end the day with a no lynch. Basically, he figured since jonty had some votes on him, why not go ahead and pressure him for a roleclaim?
How has the situation changed?

Agreement goes to Jonty. The logic of your vote was highly flawed Saf. First, you based it off that chap suspected Jonty which is weak for two reasons.

1. Logic for killing chap involves him suspecting mafia (jonty). It ignores that chap was probably targeted because he was the doc, not because he expressed mild annoyance with jonty who could possibly be mafia.

2. Logic is we're following chaps logic because he's proven townie? What logic? Chap pressured jonty because jonty had the most votes (a flawed scenario since Jonty volunteered to have the double vote used on him).

And now looking back at what jonty quoted you expressed a different opinion yesterday.

Ideally, my vote goes to Safari as well for the same reason.

I won't just vote yet because I don't want a speedlynch before everyone has a chance to post (remember, cop/watcher may already know 1 scum and if they do we should not move on to N2 without such knowledge - unless Safari is the scum in question, in which case they can try to get Safari lynched without exposing their cop/watcher claim).

I agree with this. However, it's been about three real life days since Day 2 started, and no one has come forward yet. I don't think anyone is going to claim being a cop and/or watcher this soon. I feel you are trying to probe them to reveal themselves a bit too soon. I know you are advising for them not to claim either, but I wouldn't continue to put so much attention on it.

I have been wanting to FOS safari since Day 1, but I knew it would look omgus. Yes, he has been "helpful," and tried to get the game moving. But it seems since early on, he's been trying to take the easy route.

He voted for me the day after I confirmed. I didn't even have time to write one post before he started the bandwagon on me, and I had to unwillingly claim.

Next, he looked for more inactives. Now he's back to jonty. Something about it just doesn't seem right.
