Andy, I feel like we could similarly present a case on you, no? I mean, spiesr is generally like that anyway, so to use that as evidence...well, it frankly is weak.

I mean, your dodgy-ness with regard to zimmah's question could equally be considered as a plausible case.

i'm pretty sure you're scum. if you were a VT you'd not make such a fuzz about claiming it. i have allready explained i have some info on you, and still you refuse to answer one simple question, yet you frame a townie. are you really thinking you'll get away with this?
Umm what claimed or confirmed townie? Dazza's not confirmed. Spiesr certainly isn't confirmed.

Well if it's something you know but the rest of us don't, it seems a bit unfair to lay that on Spiesr. I do agree however Andy is dodging and that's a fairly strong reason to vote for him right now.

it's either him or dazza i'd vote. i thought i allready voted for dazza but apperantly i'm confused between 2 mafia games or so, so therefore i'll vote andy because he's being dodgy and that combined with the info i have on him makes me think strongly that andy is mafia.

unvote vote andy

Then we've got a predicament if you think he's something (and say you have evidence) and I think he's something else (and say I have evidence to the contrary). I agree, Victor, that my case about his posting isn't that great, but it is the only evidence to which you all have access. Right now, I only feel confident trusting Strike Wolf.

We're getting close to a make or break vote I think, in terms of town numbers vs scum. I'll do my best to keep the town going.

Vote: Spiesr

well, i guess there's no way around claiming anymore because none seems to understand the hints i give and apperantly i always need to spell out every single move i make, only helping mafia more.

would be nice if people actually understood what i said without me having to spell out every single detail of it.

i'm the recruiter of a mason network, i can pick someone to recruit to the mason network every night, they'll become a mason too and know everyone in the network and are allowed to talk to each other at night. i can only successfully recruit VT's though, so power roles and mafia recruits will fail, but will not kill me either. they will also not be notified of an failed recruitment.

i have first targeted andy and then speisr. the fact that spiesr claimed some sort of power and andy refused to claim at all, and also targeting spiesr as well as effectivly trying to divide the attention makes me strongly believe he's mafia. i have been trying to bait him into a VT claim, but he never took the bait, however i believe if he was truly a town power he would have reacted differently and therefore it's reasonably safe to assume he's in fact scum.

i only know for sure that spiesr and andy are both NOT VT. but by their behavior i strongly suspect andy to be scum and spiesr to be a power.

there's currently 1 more mason in my network but i'm not going to reveal that one.

now that i have played my cards, i think it may be a good idea for at least some vannilla's to claim so i can recruit them.

Well i made it to this part, but since you were a cock about it, I stopped reading.
I hope you didnt have anything useful in there......

Maybe if we all just played a game of believe whatever Zimmah says without every questioning him, you would have more fun....
how about we play a game of never believing a word whatever zimmah sais in neither of his games and make his mafia experience as bad as possible, because it's fun to beat on relative newcomers.

So you want vanilla townies to claim. Would this not make it very easy for the mafia to kill off the power roles

So Zimmah is pretty high on BS radar, but I'd rather point the direction of Spiesr for today at least, because as they say "a banana in the hand is worth more than two in the bunch."

And thus you proved that you know nothing about Andy and Spiesr that we don't at this point. That claim proves nothing about either one. I thank you in that we do have two legitimate suspects. As far as why we don't pick up hints. It's much clearer to the person dropping hints as to how the hints apply to what you are hinting at (good example. I softclaimed zero in the NBC mafia but most seemed to think I was implying that I was the vig). Other than that of course people aren't going to get that you're a mason. You come across as an investigative power role who seems to know something about andy and had reason to believe you knew Spiesr had visited Leehar while remaining cryptic and expect us to get what you are selling.

no, just some of them, 1 or 2 claims would be enough. i can only recruit 1 per night.

but my role was way more effective when people didn't know about it. sadly though, you all kinda forced me to claim because you wouldn't believe a word a said otherwise.

it could have been a much more powerful role without mafia knowing about it. i'm just trying to get the most out of the role while i'm still of any use.

so if we can get 1 or 2 VTs claim, i could check one of them, and if i fail recruiting i'll know it's mafia.

I don't think anyone forced you to claim. Part of the game, when you have a power role, is about using evidence for which everyone has access (the posts in this topic), to reinforce your suspicions/tracking/investigations/whatever-night-actions.

And if you do turn out to be a mafia, this is my favorite line of the game yet: "no, just some of them, 1 or 2 claims would be enough."

Strike Wolf is also pretty right about dropping hints. It sometimes works, it sometimes doesn't. I don't think I've ever been a good hint dropper in the games I've played over the years.

Ha, I'm sorry you feel or think that way. Back to hints, it definitely can be fun when you pick up on hints others have dropped...either consciously or unconsciously. I've re-read this topic so many times, it really is like being a detective and you pick up on different things each time for sure.
