I am Aphrodite, town role-blocker. I blocked somebody last night, and lo and behold, there was no maf kill. The only other scenarios I can imagine at this point are bulletproofs and/or busdriver. Perhaps the maf targeted a bulletproof, inadvertently or no. I'm almost tempted to ask the bulletproof character to reveal themselves, if they do exist. It would clear my suspicions and save us a less-than-desirable lynch. I won't reveal who I blocked last night just yet, because honestly, I thought they were fairly pro-town the whole game and I only blocked them on a whim.

Hm, that's a bit odd. I would have pegged Hermes as more of a busdriver than anything. Hider is a pretty obscure role.

That and Poseidon. I would have pegged Hades for being bulletproof (lord of the dead and all), although I'm not really sure what Poseidon could have been ability wise.

Not even going to comment on PCM's killing of MeDeFe. There is a possibility that he might actually be an SKer, which might be a bit farfetched, but not impossible. Out of curiosity, did you block PCM any of the previous nights tails?

Prometheus seems to be the odd one out here. The only other one I have issue with is Hermes because it just seems a bit strange, but I'm still leaning towards Prometheus here.

Mafia roleblocker blocks town roleblocker.
Mafia roleblocker also kills someone else.

Is the mafia roleblocker blocked from his killing attempt or does his attempt to block the town roleblocker effectively prevent himself from being blocked?

My guess (or how I'd to this as a mod) is that both roleblockers simultaneously block each other, meaning any other actions they eventually try to perform (either the mafia roleblocker making the mafia's kill or a town/mafia roleblocker using a gift they got from an inventor) cannot be performed.

That means that Tail's claim of having blocked VS is logically incompatible with Saf's claim that Victor visited Strike the night Strike died. I'd suggest getting rid of Safari first (he could be mafia or a 3rd-party arsonist with inside mafia knowledge with several town players doused - yeah, I always kept this option open since it would make sense flavourwise). If Saf's death does not win us the game, we have PCM kill Tail while Tail blocks PCM. If Tail really is a roleblocker, he should live.

Yes. Hence my confusion when Saf outed Victor and he admitted to being scum. I assumed at that point I had been role blocked or my action otherwise directed by somebody else. Plus, I'm not quite sure how we've got the block working... strike seemed to know he was blocked, VS didn't when I asked him (assuming it connected). To further my confusion, I blocked Saf last night, and he claimed that nobody visited Violet. He says he received a notice that nobody visited her, but it seems to me that if he were blocked, he would either get a "you were blocked" or no notice at all.

However, if he were scum, I don't know why he work so hard to kill the others. He's been responsible for both jonty's and VS' lynches.

I would think that if two roleblockers blocked each other then both blocks would be negated. Have to wait for edocsil to tell us how that would work.

I'm not sure what to make of your block last night Tails. I think Rodion has a good idea that's worth considering. Unless he's mafia and trying to draw attention away from himself and get PCM to waste his shot...

1 Roleblocker's kill would fail, roleblocks are first action applied. and are applied simultaneously.

This means that the only chance Tail/Saf are not logically contradicting themselves is that Strike roleblocked Tail on N2 (then I'm assuming Tail's roleblock would not work, allowing VS to kill?). Either way, it's a long shot and I think the odds are pretty good that at least one of them is lying. Besides, that could explain Safari's N2 report, but it doesn't explain how Tail claimed to have roleblocked Safari while Safari claimed to have gotten a reprot on Violet.

I recommend that we lynch Safari and allow Tail and PCM to target one another to check Tail's claim. Mafia already lost a roleblocker, so if Tail can effectively prove that he is a roleblocker he should be cleared.

Now, why am I voting Tails?

Well, in addition to the points that Rodion brought up- Tails said he blocked safari last night.

Tails, why on Earth would you try to block safari, when he's proved himself as a townie?

That seems like an anti town move right there.

I also want to say that for the record- I don't trust Rodion either. That claim just screams fake-claim to me, and for all we know- Rodion and Tails could have planned this whole scheme together.

I may also know why the mafia didn't have a night kill but don't want to say too much atm.

Let's hear it. I'm starting to think that my actions prevented the mafia kill, unlikely as I considered it at first.

Here, Tails says his actions may have prevented the mafia kill- yet he blocked safari.

1). If this is true, and safari is mafia, then the block also would have prevented saf from watching me. The block didn't go through- which means if he tried to kill- it would go through.
It just doesn't make since from whichever angle you look at it.


Also- the more I think about it, Poisedon really sounds like a mafia role.
