"vanish into smoke" "powdery substance"... it's ok. I know someone who can be of service.

daddy1gringo wrote:To really learn Ninjitsu, you'd have to be born into a clan of them. They began training their children from the time they could walk, and martial arts was just a small part of it.
Most of the stuff you see and hear is nonsense. My kids were watching "the Three Ninjas" and I remember cracking up at a line where their teacher says something like "A ninja must be empty of all ambition" or some such thing. Void of ambition? They were hired freaking assassins for crying out loud.
My guess is that anyone who claims to be teaching Ninjitsu is a phony.

You have to make ten posts in the regular forums before you can post in Ninjutsu but the people there can point you in the right direction..
That said, you'd be better off finding a more practical art to study. The Ninjutsu community is probably the most pretentious martial arts community out there, and the skill set of most practitioners is lacking.
Do yourself a favor if you do pursue this, and start calling it Ninjutsu rather than "ninjitsu". Be prepared to be insulted for both not knowing something, and asking questions about things you don't know...
