-> If he has a pattern of over-reactions he should be removed from the force.

-> We don't know what lead up to this... it looks like he was writing her a ticket. Is it safe to presume that she was violent and vocal??? I don't think cops typically handcuff people when writing them tickets. What was she arrested for?

-> He over-reacted... but if she kept her mouth shut and didn't assault him first then it wouldn't have happened. Her actions don't justify his reaction... but part of the blame should fall to her.

-> Yes her kicking him was assault even if he wasn't in any real danger.

I will now go back and read what everyone else wrote.
I posted the evidence that he's already been charged and convicted of assault in the past. Perhaps the lesson to be learned is that criminals convicted of violent crimes don't make the best policemen.
I agree with your statement.

Do you agree the woman was stupid for kicking him and shouldn't have done that?
Oh, no question there. It was stupid. But she was drunk, and while that doesn't excuse the stupidity, a team of policeman should really be able to deal with a drunk woman in handcuffs sitting on the kerb without kicking her in the head.

It's a tough job, and I've got a lot of respect for those who do it, but if something this minor elicits that kind of reaction the cop in question shouldn't really be on the force. And like I said, it's not the first time he's done this either.

I still can't believe that people are making judgments about how hard either of them kicked the other through an animated gif.

She's putting something in, not taking something out.
Anyway, I read somewhere that she stole his parking spot, bitch. Plus he barely hits her. That's a total dive man, Yellow card ref. Ref!

He should be thankful too, in some countries he might've been murdered for spitting at a cop.

Hey, can you ask that guy if he still thinks it's cool to be a disrespectful salivating punk? (for whatever irrelevant reason....)

Ya know that saying "If your friend jumped off a bridge, then would you?" I think that guy is the one who jumped first.
You're retarded. Just because you're a little bitch, and probably the people around you too, doesn't mean everybody else is. That persons reaction to that event wasn't to be cowed by authority, it was to challenge it more, to be more aggressive and confrontational.

Most altercations with cops occur when people are drunk and not making rational decisions. Do you think in the heat of the moment some drunk sod is going to contemplate and reflect that he got a kicking one time from a bunch of cops, so this time he should calm damn and back off?, Hello, reality to phatso, here boy!

This pig tried to shut off his DASH cam before savagely beating a 66 year old man with dementia. He forgot about the backup camera. Pigs like this need to go to prison and get some alone time with the sisters.

You are right. responding to being called names like retard and dumbshit, and hypocrite and troll even, with similarly calling you guys a bunch of names and cursing and sliming it up would really make me more awesome

You are the one sticking your nose in someone else's conversation, name calling with nothing to actually add.

Who trolls who? Now it's also hypocritical.

Why was this woman on the ground in the first place?

She was handcuffed, it must have been difficult for her to sit down.

Maybe the cops threw her on the ground, then kicked her, before what happened in this very short video.
