I do not need to know any better when an abusive player rates 22 out of his total 24 opponents so poorly (i.e. all 1s)..

It's not gonna affect Pirlo's ranking, but if a newer player came up against a bunch of people rating 1-stars it could drive the rating down quite a bit. Some tourneys have ratings requirements and some people just care about ratings. If it was meaningless, it wouldn't be a feature of this site.

Pirlo, I'm not sure the mods will spend much time looking at this though before you give a couple examples, as I mentioned before. Just look through a couple of the rankings and show:

Game number XXXXXX, KB420 loses but gives Player A 1-star
Game number XXXXXX, KB420 loses but gives Player B 1-star
etc.

I think the mods usually look for at least 5 instances. (IIRC)
