The truth is that Conservatives were not out blaring in the media for weeks that he was a liberal or motivated by liberalism, yet, many Liberals were out blaring in the media for weeks that he was affiliated with the Tea Party.
If you read the link I provided, you will see that I showed the shooting was motivated by a personal issue, and nothing to do with politics. The left are the ones who made this political, so we have to respond to the political lie with politics.
Politics had nothing to do with the shooting, but politics have everything to do with the responsive lies from obama, sheriff dupnick, and pimpdave, along with the mainstream media, about what motivated the shooting.
Murder Libel 101
First off, this word murder libel, I do not think it means what you think it means.
There were people using the shooting for political gain, and to slander the Tea Party. I agree with you, that that is unacceptable. However, there were also people who were using the opportunity of a congresswoman being shot to point out that the state of political rhetoric in this country is dangerously unhinged (which is exemplified pretty well in the fact that people were using the shooting to slander the Tea Party). There is a difference between the two, however subtle. Pimpdave falls pretty clearly in the former category (though it seems, I can't tell, but it seems like he's just having a laugh). Obama falls pretty clearly in the latter category.
And I'm serious. How the hell do you connect Zeitgeist to atheism? I'm having trouble with that one.
