Why is General claiming?

Because as I said before, I am looking for members of my faction. I can out because I am 100% invincible. I cannot be killed at night or lynched during the day. Would you like to test this? I would rather not waste the lynch, but if you all want to do that, I am game.

I'm a bit concerned there, are you also safe from poisoning? else you could be in trouble...

Take a look at Cait Sith from FFVII. Surviving was the easy part, winning was a good deal harder. Its not uncommon for a role like that to claim d1.

me thinks thegeneral got blocked last night, thus no reporting (if his role reports things like that).
But didn't he say his role doesn't report players' roles?

And I would imagine that both sides have about the same kind of roles, and equal numbers. Thus, if there's ay third party, there would probably be an even amount of third party. So far it seems we have 2 third party, which means 14 others, so about 7 montague, 7 capulet. Not a bad sized force.

To me when we first started talking about a third party revealing the faction of players. General said "I am that third party". Now he is saying different.

Ok everyone steady, dont have to know romeo and juliet to play just use some sense here. It would fit that romeo and juliet are third party and if the general is telling the truth,his endgame would be to insure they survive he loses if they die, and it would be acceptable for him to be invincible and claim to let them know. now the problem if he is a different faction trying to draw them out that doesnt make sense,they dont have to claim to be safe and they know who he is now. So that leaves the 2 families killing each other off and possibly them as well to win.

If romeo dies I believe juliet might as well therefore the general loses. So to keep the game even there is probably a fourth third party a protective role.

that player now knows he doesnt have to protect the general maybe so putting the general to the vote will only be a problem if you think about it for a minute.
