Telling a woman (or someone you think is a woman) "stupid bitch go play with dolls" is a sexist comment.

To say that the statement "stupid bitch go play with dolls" is sexist, one must believe that women are meant to "play with dolls". The idea that only females play with dolls is sexist as males also play with dolls.

The doll comment is gender neutral. Context (whether jake thought Becky is a he/she) is irrelevant, cuz if you make other bigoted comment, context isn't taken into consideration your still punished.

Words are not just words, you have to take in consideration the cultural context, the historical baggage of what is said. You can't go calling people "faggots" and then claim "but I'm just calling you a bundle of sticks, it's not bigotry!"

Historical context? Like when? 1900's? I don't know about you but I know lots of children boys & girls play dolls now. This is context in which we live in today - when the comments where made - not historically.

lol dont even go down that line icepack they are the rules that are used to bust anyone being biogoted. if you want to say tht then every person that has been busted for the use of the words f**got or ni**a in game chat need to have there bans reversed. like what has also been proven is baiting someone in game chat is allowed but responses serious responses are not. you and others are posting in response to 1 line that was used but there were several that could be clased as sexiest and other things.

Acutally no there couldn't in this report. BG stated that the warning was based on this statement alone.

The problem is is that the rules are way out of wack. He could have told Becky/Bubba to go f themselves in their dirty c**t. And that would have been ok. But telling he/she to go and play with dolls is an offense. Seriously, you don't find a problem in that? Especially when nowadays it is socially acceptable for anyone to play with dolls?

My specific concerns have been addressed and answered. It was not only the dolls comment but in conjunction with several other segments of that games chat that resulted in the warning and I fully concur and support the verdict and am now also officially a Brainiac!
