islamic politic parties

Post by the carpet man »

so since the revolts of egypt, tunisia etc. and the armed coup in lybia, many people vote for parties like the 'muslim brotherhood'. i think in either tunisia or egypt this is now the party in power

and in much western media, i see talk of how to deal with this, bide your time, persuade the people of these countries to get rid of these inappropriate government. they call these governments a problem

so what i ask is: is it okay for islamic parties to run middle east countries? when they have been elected by the people (using the democracy that NATO and others were so desperate to install at this time last year)? what is so horrible about these politicians?

They are pure evil. Nothing more than the work of the devil. Now, if they were supporting America and not calling for its downfall, then we would know they are blessed by god. But this is not the case. So, yeah, they have to go.

it isn't really a theocracy as long as the democratic structure remains intact and the people still have ultimate power over their leaders.

USA, for starters.

well, no. so, say, the senate of the usa wishes to pass a law giving themselves and the army, police etc. free houses. no one else in the country wants this. everyone in the senate votes in favor. people complain. the army and police go 'we like this' and stop the protests. you think it is impossible for this to happen?

it is not likely to happen, yes. but it very possibly could. so even an american living in the 'land of the free' (lol) does not have true power over their leaders.

is the tea party an american politic party? i know mainly of the republican and democrat. the only other i can think of is the grand old party and the men with the white robes, but i think those parties do not exist any more

i have only heard a small amount of the tea party but as i understand they like a lot of guns. so maybe they will use their guns to do something? in my experience men who want guns are the ones stealing from the innocent, but i could not say for certain about the tea people.

The "grand old party" is a nickname for the republican party. If you're referring to the KKK with "the men with the white robes", you can just call them the democrat party. They haven't changed.
If anybody should be able to keep their racists straight, you'd think it would be a german.
