Add a round Limit after the game has started?

Post by MrSour »

Hi

I have search but couldn't find it...

Would it be acceptable if all players agree to add a round limit after the game has started? If so how would I do this, is it a matter of emailing an admin?

There isn't a precedent for this. I think that admin would probably decline it.

If players want to do this, they can do it themselves. Set a round limit and whoever it leading by that round, just let that person win.

It is not currently possible. I think there is a suggestion kicking around the suggestion forum somewhere to add this, but I didn't find it with quick look.

It is most certainly possible, but the admins have to do it. They have apparently done in recently too....

I think they would probably decline any request though.

This wasn't done on user request. This was done so we could properly update map files and XMLs without breaking hundreds of active games.

If you want Round Limits going forward, use them! For old games you are stuck in without Round Limits, it can stink, but stick it out. :)
