Farewell thread to Blitzaholic

Farewell thread to Blitzaholic

Blitz was very active, and had many accomplishments here...

23,317 posts
14,389 games
72% win rate
118 medals

About a year ago, a sordid episode occurred, and Blitz left the public forums,
but for the past year he continued to play many games, roughly 40-50 at any given time.

But as of now, he is completely gone...
And he did so without the customary farewell thread...
Most likely for the same personal reasons that he abandoned the forums.

So here's your chance to say farewell to one of the most prolific players CC has ever seen...

Right now GLG is most prolific. Emmdizzle is a good candidate. Andy Dufresne is prolific.

I expected more people to comment in this thread...

Maybe many people know what you know...
But if it's true, he should at least use his multi to congratulate himself... :P

I looked at this at 9 am today, no more recent posts. I mean ffs the asian kid is getting more love. This guy was a pompous ass, who wanted to see his name on top of everything(including all 99 threads he started*), im kinda glad hes getting no love(watch the love start pouring forward) It also has to do with this site is dying, at least the way I see it. The older crew is not as active and the entire site as a whole is different than just 2 years ago.

Farewell blitz, I will always remember the time I beat you at Woodboro. Thank you for the great memories. I don't know who you are or why people hate you, but on your departure I wish to respectfully applaud and say good bye. Good luck in life, Blitz

Well?

Did he reply?
Is he being protected by the underground?
Is he actually in some sort of witness protection plan?
Did he roll over and expose others in exchange for a new identity?

Come on aon, give us something here...

Cya Blitz. You definitely took more points from than I did you, but I enjoyed the team games. A worthy opponent.

As for prolific players, JR24 and HA were/are very prolific.

If he didn't cheat he would of been the best, its a shame he went that way.

Farewell blitz if you are really gone, i had a fun time creating the clan map with ya, good memories, just a shame you had to use the team system is all.

Well, unfortunately, in exchange for being told the details i had to agree to keep it a complete secret...
In retrospect, i shouldn't have done that since it's possible to piece it together if you are clever enough...
Oh well, at least i know now...

And knowing what i now know, i no longer expect to see an appearance from the late great Blitzaholic...

Now that is not to say that a particular government employed Psychologist who also enjoys playing Texas Hold'em and who lives in the Eastern Time Zone is not alive and well within the halls of ConquerClub, albeit wearing a different hat than that of Blitz, and sporting a different avatar than that of Blitz, and active in a different clan than Blitz... and.. well, hopefully, you get the point...

Well I'm intrigued! I feel there are several clues in this paragraph... how to piece them together? "A different hat"... could this be a clue as to rank? Though doubt it... I'd expect Blitz would be higher ranked than that. Texas Hold'em, Psychologist, Eastern Time Zone... seems to me Robinette is in the know. I've got a pretty good guess, but since I'm not sure, I'm not going to name names. But the name I'm fitting with the clues above is fairly well known.
