48 hour turn option?

I was just wondering if there has been any discussion on creating a 48 hour turn option? I sometimes am not around the internet to take a turn in 24 hours. It would be useful to me when playing with friends in other timezones as well.

Yes, there has been discussion in the suggestions forum. That does not mean that it will happen, but people have talked about it.

no thread there? i personally really wouldn't like it as i find some games to slow already, but i guess for those who can;t access it and don't mind slow game play it would be fine and i don't have to play it, just another game mode to watch out for.
