This is the fourth in a series of 8 1v1 tournaments across 8 Eras of human history. Each tournament will be run independently and signing up for 1 does not commit you to any of the others. Premium only please.
In Dawning, you will experience the beginning of mankind and the gradual forming of civilization.
This tournament will feature 32 players. At signup, select which group you would like to be in based on the map for that group. Each group will feature 4 players and will be a round robin for a total of 3 games for each player in the first round. Any ties will be broken by whomever WON their matchups in the fewest rounds total (if on the off chance this does not decide the winner then the winner of their matchup advances). The winner of each group will then advance to an 8 player single elimination bracket (matchups will be determined randomly). Each matchup (including the finals) will be 3 games, and will consist of one game on each group winner's map and a random map from the same Era.
[spoiler=The Grand Finale - GENERAL ACHIEVEMENT MEDAL APPROVED]The 8 winners of each separate tournament will then play in the Grand Finale, an 8 player single elimination bracket with each matchup (including the finals) consisting of 5 games (2 games on 2 different maps of each players choosing from the Era of the tournament they won, and a random map used by another player from the Final Eight).
If one person has won multiple tournaments then the best runner up across all 8 tournaments, determined by best W/L record, will be invited into the finals. Matchups in the Grand Finale will be based on seeding; the team with the best W/L record in the tournament they won will be the 1 seed, etc. Any runner ups invited into the Grand Finale will be the lowest seed.
The winner of the Grand Finale has been approved to receive a General Achievement Medal
