Oh boy its been a while since i've schedual a tournament! ok so here we go: all games will be played on city mongul, games will be played best of 3, last 2 finalist will then enter a best of 3 pre-final round on city mongul. winner of that round will then decide setting of the final round on random map which will be a do or die round no best of 3, 1 run, 1 game and that will determine the winner of the tournament!
players facing off each other will be decided at random.org

And, I'm a little confused at the setup. Can you explain it a little better? I understand it's best of 3, but the final doesn't make sense to me. You say the winner gets to pick his settings, but how do you know who the winner is?
yes i can, so when it comes down to the last 2 players, both players will have a round best of 3 on city mongul. the winner of that best of 3 will then decide his/her settings for the very final game, and the winner of that very last game will be crown the tournament winner

I'm still not 100% on how the Final works. The way I read it is the last 2 Players play a best of 3 Series. Whoever win that series then picks the setting for a Final Game. Whoever wins that final game wins the Tournament. If that is correct, one Player could win all 3 of the best of 3 games, and the other Player could go first in the Final game and win the Tournament. This seems a little unbalanced. Let's face it, if a Player goes first and knows what they are doing, they will likely win.

i see you have a strong point there, but its is not really unbalance the way i see it, its the same thing as just having a normal final round 1 on 1 without the best of 3, yes i understand it could give the winner of the best 3 a boost for the final but there can always be a turning point. its a risk willing to be taken. or in another case all setting can be decided by the winner from the best of 3 but i can adjust the map to be random, if that seem like a better idea??
Why don't you just make the final a best of 5? Why play a fourth game after someone already won the best of 3? If the player that does not win the best of 3 wins the 4th game, then both players will have 2 wins. So it would not seem fair for that player to win the Tourney with the same number of wins in the final. Not trying to be difficult, just trying to balance things (at least from my perspective).
