well i call this Semifinal Group (its hard to call league, because have only 4 team) because you have 4 teams, and two go to finale.Leehar wrote:Phase 3 isn't semifinals, it's just another league between you top 4
can i ask what parameters you take to decide who are mvp?TheCrown wrote:I am putting forth chard for MVP of Divison 2
Plyr Games W - L
Chard (24) 16 - 7
1 still going.
I think he is just throwing out a suggestion based on games won/lost and how many game played. For example, I am 16-9 with 26 games played and 1 still waiting to finish (6 of 7 in trips, just to toot my own horn). For some weird reason my map rank wont work for this division or I could quickly put together the records for the rest of our clan.qwert wrote:can i ask what parameters you take to decide who are mvp?TheCrown wrote:I am putting forth chard for MVP of Divison 2

Tour Stats works fairly well for thisCrazyirishman wrote:I think he is just throwing out a suggestion based on games won/lost and how many game played. because i notice that one player have 11-1, so this mean that best win % dont mean that will be MVP, very strange .chemefreak wrote:The MVP of each division is selected by the TOs and then approved by the CDs. There is no set formula.
Please criticize in English. Thanks.qwert wrote:because i notice that one player have 11-1, so this mean that best win % dont mean that will be MVP, very strange .chemefreak wrote:The MVP of each division is selected by the TOs and then approved by the CDs. There is no set formula.

So what if 1 player goes 5-0 and another goes 13-3? Who do you think is more valuable, win percentage doesn't mean that much if the sample size is small.qwert wrote:because i notice that one player have 11-1, so this mean that best win % dont mean that will be MVP, very strange .chemefreak wrote:The MVP of each division is selected by the TOs and then approved by the CDs. am putting forth chard for MVP of Divison 2
Plyr Games W - L
Chard (24) 16 - 7 (66.66%)
1 still going
Le rodent(28) w-18 L-10(64,28)
geko(12) w-11 l-1(91.66%)
Hopefully the TOs will consider this opinion in their analysis. It is well reasoned and coherent. We shall how the TOs go, especially considering that this thing may go down to a tiebreaker. The MVP could very well come out of that set of games.Crazyirishman wrote:Thanks for the link leehar, its very helpful.
I'm sorry qwert, but cheme's answer was not hostile. A smartass response that was a tad bit uncalled for? Yes, but not hostile.
However you do bring up an interesting point. I personally believe that Le Rodent would present a better case for MVP than geko, despite geko playing very well in his 12 games.
Le Rodent is 18-10 in his 28 games while chard is 16-7 (most likely 17-7 if we win the cricket game that we have the lead in) in his 24 games, so both are very deserving of the MVP. Of course it is fairly obvious which one I would lean towards.

I'm sure this will be taken into account. A very good observation. So far, the MVP choice for Division 4 was, in my opinion, perfect and extremely well reasoned. So I think everyone will get a fair shake. Plus, they are only medals. And no one cares about medals right?benga wrote:This is all nice, but OSA used a 35 man roster while others hardly made it a 20-25.
This also has to be taken in account.
But yes Le Rodent seems to most deserving MVP, chard has worse stats and LOW didn't qualify,
so his contribution is smaller in every way.

But it's also about recognition, I do want geko to be the winner, but from Rodents performancechemefreak wrote:I'm sure this will be taken into account. A very good observation.
