I saw a comment about edoc being super aggressive and that being the reason to vote him. He's usually like that anyways, and edoc has generally a shorter tolerance for noob mistakes than some of the rest of us. That reason is pretty Meta and I don't like it.

pmc brought it up as a reason to vote edoc and vodean bandwagonned on it.

That puts him at L-3 by my count. Also I to put a little more reasoning behind my vote rather than just a deadline looming, I believe this sums it up a little.

I will however repeat this. I am suspicious of those saying NOT to lynch the newbies. We are not trying to lynch the newbies. With a 25 man game we need claims. They have just as good a chance to be mafia, cult third party or whatever as anyone else.

Using the meta of their noobiness is not a good idea for determining their alignment. Yes they are new and probably don't know better than to do what they do... but the things that have been done are considered scummy for a reason. If we're going to use that kind of meta then we may as well use the meta of experienced players doing scummy things being explained away as "if player X were scum they wouldn't be acting so poorly". When it comes down to it it's a whole lot of WIFOM and I'm going to follow my reads the behavior I find suspicious more so than the player it's coming from.

... that and the deadline being the 31st leaves us very little time to explore other options.

@ IB, you are so right. Anyone can be anything. There is a distict difference betweenlynching someone who does something silly and putting pressure on them so they have to claim. Being dumb is a noob's prerogative but so is having to claim when you are dumb!

Well that's different from my interpretation. I thought he was alomost like a press-ganger and would "recurit" survivors, and turn them into townies.

Congrats sound you found a website's definition of "hunter". Doesn't neccesary mean that the "hunter" in this game will do the same exact thing. I know I've done things in the past just using basic names and giving them different powers than that said site's wiki defines.

No! Really? I never would have imagined!

I am providing additional information that may be helpful to us. No where did I say that that definition was the only possible one. Without Red telling us exactly what his role does all we can do it guess. And I would like that guess to be the best educated one possible.

that does explain why saf tried to put pressure on me and pmc when redhedge was being asked to claim... so i guess that that case is a little invalid (not that it held much water).
i think that redhedge would not have been able to fake-claim, and even if it were fake, claiming association with saf would bea VERY ballsy move. so for now, lets scumhunt. and if the deadline looms and we need a lynch, we can always resort to one of them. but i think that the hunter role could help us in a tight spot (not that he will be willing to).

I wasn't skimming, I just presumed the emphasis was on survivor not hunter. As in survivor who can hunt, rather than someone who hunts survivors.

Remember a survivor does not care who wins or loses just that they make it to the end with whatever faction wins.

It sounds to me that Hunter survivor is here to get a high kill count. It would be interesting to find out if they BOTH must survive to win. Our first night is going to be very interesting I suspect.

uhm... have you been following along? do you know what a hunter is? i would imagine that it is normally a town role
