As multiple games will be played at once this tournament is open to premium members only.
This tournament will be loosely based on the Clipper Round the World yacht race.
At the start of each leg of the race the 36 participants will be randomly split into 6 groups of 6. For each game you win your yacht will catch the ocean breezes needed to reach the finish line first! Bonuses are also up for grabs: the quicker each game is won the stronger the wind will blow and the further your yacht will go!

Tournament format:
Leg 1: London to Sao Paulo Map: South America
Leg 2: Sao Paulo to Johannesburg Map: Africa
Leg 3: Johannesburg to Sydney Map: Australia
Leg 4: Sydney to Tokyo Map: Far East
Leg 5: Tokyo to Los Angeles Map: USA
Leg 6: Los Angeles to London Map: Europa All leg scores doubled on this leg.
At the start of each leg you will be sent invites to 3 games. The results of games 1 and 2 will be taken into account ahead of the result of game 3. If more games are needed to decide the winner of the leg these will be sent a game at a time.
Invites must be accepted within 48 hours or you risk being replaced by a reserve.
Scoring:
All legs are 7000 miles long.
For each game won: your boat gains 2500 miles Finishing 2nd-4th: 500 miles Finishing 5th or 6th: 200 miles
Bonuses:
Games won in less than 8 rounds: 400 miles Games won in 8 rounds: 300 miles Games won in 9 rounds: 200 miles
The first player to reach the 7000 mile goal on each leg will win. All yachtsmen and ladies still left at sea will be winched to safety by the coastguard!

After all six legs are completed the player with the most points wins the Race Around The World!
