I don't know if you can exactly "beat" a sports game, but Darksiders definitely counts.xeno wrote:Dark Souls. Unless you count darksiders and nba2k12
VI is my favorite, followed closely by VII. I didn't bother finishing VIII, and IX and X were ridiculous wastes of time.Dukasaur wrote:I played all the later M&Ms and most of the earlier ones too, but quite honestly nothing compares with VI.Woodruff wrote:Might and Magic VII. Great game!
As well, I'm about to finish Neverwinter Nights.
I whooped Blood Bowl's ass. (A wonderful turn-based, fantasy-based sports game, by the way.)Frigidus wrote:I don't know if you can exactly "beat" a sports game, but Darksiders definitely counts.xeno wrote:Dark Souls. Unless you count darksiders and nba2k12
y'know, I just didn't like the stuff they changed in Dark Souls... it's why I stuck to Demon's Souls. same basic concept thoughxeno wrote:Dark Souls. Unless you count darksiders and nba2k12

I must admit that I haven't played III. I started with V, and could never get the earlier ones to load (or if they loaded, to play very well).xeno wrote:WRONG III is the best end of storyWoodruff wrote:VI is my favorite, followed closely by VII. That was how I got them to run when I did. I have DosBox on my system (so that I can run my alltime favorite game, M.A.X.).maxfaraday wrote:Try DosBox (it's an emulator designed to run old DOS games).
I've only played III with my friends but they have played all of them and say III is the best. They're all prolly really good they have a good formula with HeroesWoodruff wrote:I must admit that I haven't played III. Now if you're talking about HEROES of Might and Magic (a much different animal), then I will agree with you that III is by far the best. I think that series actually has gone way downhill.xeno wrote:I've only played III with my friends but they have played all of them and say III is the best. I loved it. It's a first-person view, which is nice. I also like that it has multiple characters in the party, rather than just a lone individual, which gives you more flexibility. And I like that you can go into turn-based mode for combat if you want to (I prefer turn-based combat).CPD SARGE wrote:Thanks for the tip. I'll try out M&M VI first since two of you agree its good.
You've clearly never come across my Skaven team, or my Chaos (Nurgle) guys.Woodruff wrote:I whooped Blood Bowl's ass.
