What am I doing wrong and maprank 1.5.5 just installed is not working but leads to a blank page? Thank you.

Probably should post this over in Tools and Enhancements ... or someone might be able to move this over there for you. I think you're much more likely to get help there. Either in the thread for MapRank or a new topic in the Tools Bugs page.

Map Rank suddenly disappeared completely for me, even though it worked fine yesterday. Says it's enabled and everything, but nothing shows up. I use firefox. Anyone know why it happened, or if/how I can fix it?

Works for me. Normally restarting Greasemonkey, and/or restarting your computer works for me.

I think you are using a too new version of FireFox. That happened to me when I did an upgrade. Could be wrong though

I don't know. All of the sudden my map ranker stopped working when it was a working and I didn't upgrade fire fox lately. And all my other add-ons are working. I've tried disabling/enabling - removing and un-removing. Nothing's worked so fare though. It's wierd that it just stopped working all of the sudden. And I have the 1.5.5 installed (latest version).

Hmm, using 1.5.5 still works fine with me, FF 16.

And after updating to FF17 it breaks.. I'll have a look.

I need assistance doing a map rank on röde orm

I have tried all the ways I know and can't get it to work. My guess is that special character is messing it up. Can I convert it to ASCII or something?

I suggest two things.

Go to his wall and Map Rank him from there.
Copy and paste him name into the Game Finder and then Map Rank after copying the character.

Map Rank vs works with that user name, not sure whether that helps? Maybe use a user name with no games played for the vs?

My MapRank disappeared recently.

Firefox 17.0.1, Greasemonkey 1.5

BOB Menu & Clan Rank are still available though.

What could be the issue and how to solve it?

I have Map Rank GL 1.5.5 running on Firefox 16.0.1 in OSX 10.8.2

I can't map rank anyone. Everyone comes up with 0 wins no matter how many games they've played on a given map. And it just sits on "gathering games" if I try to map rank myself for all maps (and I only have 400 games played).

Are there any other map ranking addons out there?

I re-installed FF 16.0.2 and Map Rank worked again. Nevertheless yesterday Firefox automatically updated again to 17.0.1 and MapRank was gone again.

Go to Tools -> Options -> upgrade and switch off auto-upgrade

Okay, I have seen the problem at FF 17.0.1, and it has to do with the magic code which confirms that the Map Rank you are running is up to date. I am trying to find out why the syntax used is no longer legal, and come up with a substitute.

Browser: Firefox 17.0.1
Scripts/third party programs used: Greasemonkey

If the bug happened in a game/s, do not forget to indicate the game number/s.

Installed updates for Firefox, BOB still works, Map Rank doesn't. My laptop still has Firefox 15.0.1 and Map Rank works.

Why is that?

You are right, MR does not work with FF 17. Works with FF 15 and 16, but not 17. This bug reports forum should be for CC related bugs only. MR is a tool/enhancement.
