Blatant and happens all the time. Just tired of overlooking it. High ranking paid members know better I'm sure.

Here, I fixed it for you. The game you linked to has neither of the players in it and is really old. I assume you left the 9 off?

What they're doing is not holding a player hostage. They're protecting a tert so someone else can't eliminate yellow and green. This is not only fair play, but helpful to both the player blocking and the player blocked.

Holding someone hostage would be to eliminate most of their terts, stranding them and preventing the game from finishing. For instance, on World 2.1, if there were only two players left, with Player A owning nearly every tert and Player B owning just the Caribbean tert, and Player A refused to take the last tert and continued to drop elsewhere, Player A would be holding Player B hostage.

But your example isn't holding a player hostage at all - it's protecting them being eliminated by other players.

It's strategy, they have something to gain on you not being taken out........yet. You can call it a legal hostage situation :).

Cool. Makes me a more dangerous player. Always assumed that it was illegal to guard a small number of an opponents armies while they are removed from the board elsewhere. Still cheap tactic tho. But ill employ it from now on. Sorry for the erroneous complaint. Cheers bouncy...gg

Yes, for as long as it says "pending" in the title.

It's been less than 48 hours. Mods have lives. Give them a chance.

Both players are cleared, they have shown good strategy, they have not broken any rules.
