For people who do not want to post in the Forums or participate in games, make membership optional.
Specifics/Details:
Essentially, anyone who did not have plans to ever post in the forums or play a game would not be required to create a Conquer Club account.
How this will benefit the site and/or other comments:
it will provide greater options
are you talking about lurkers who can watch games see some of the forum but cant play or post so no account required which could lead them into joining if they like what they see i would like to see when im playing a game if someone is watching. like in the forum you can see who is online Users browsing this forum: No registered users and 0 guests ETC.
sorry but I'm not sure i get this.. why would someone create an account that would not permit him to play and/or post? it's kind of the only things you can do. And if you are not interested in forums or games, why click on it... is this for forum/game addicts desiring to put themselves in rehab?
there are forums out there in the www where you dont need an account but you can browse the site without creating an account fly on the wall window shopping etc. i just joined http://www.rodsnsods.co.uk/ after browsing got hooked and joined after an hour.
The only change that I can see that moves towards this suggestion would be to make it so that you can view game pages (and game finder and related stuff) without logging in.
That said, I am going to wager that this is just a trollish suggestion that can be closed

Not to play. Just to look @ games (and maps! One of the BIG selling points of the site!) Hard to tell from the tiny maps the home page scrolls thru exactly how many and the variety of our maps contains. And you can't view ongoing games or how it all works until an account.
There was a recent situation in which someone who was giving free advertising for CC couldn't get any good screenshots, and ended up making CC look a lot worse then they could have.
