The updated BCSCC rankings are attached. Conference play has concluded and we are ready to proceed to the round of 10. The respective Conference Champions are:

Pac 12
#1 ScaryTeded (9-3, 5-2) - The #1 rated player started strong (4-1) and cruised through conference play (5-2).

B1G
#3 randy pierce (10-2, 6-1) - Dominated the toughest conference (on paper) with a 6-1 record.

Big 12
#8 GhoStedar (8-4, 6-1) - Overcame a sluggish start (2-3) with an impressive 6-1 performance. One of (3) Big 12 teams advancing to the tournament round.

Big East
#9 Sirmium Samurai (10-2, 6-1) - The only player ranked in the preseason top-10 to advance. Had impressive performances in both non-conference (4-1) and conference play (6-1).

SEC
#14 Jimmy V (8-4, 5-2) - Followed through, winning a competitive conference with a 5-2 record.

ACC
#17 spore08 (7-5, 6-1) - overcame a poor start in non-conference play (1-4) with a convincing 6-1 conference record. Sounds like a Cinderella story to me...


WILD CARD WINNERS

#2 withmejulie (8-4, 5-2) - a conference win away from the title, withmejulie will have to settle for a #2 seed and byes in the first (2) rounds of play. The 2nd Big 12 player to make the round of 10.

#4 harvmax (8-4, 4-3) - Yet another Big 12 team advancing. What is this - the SEC?

#5 elonpuckhog (7-5, 4-3) - Impressive wins over excellent players were enough to make the final ten.

Congratulations to the winner of the 1st Annual BCSCC Tournament, withmejulie!!

It came down to the wire, but in the end, withmejulie won the hard-fought, best-of-5 series against the formidable ScaryTeded, 3-2.
