Welcome to what will be my 33rd tournament! In this tournament you'll play a bunch of different game types on the beta map Baltic Crusades.
To enter, you must be Premium and have a score of at least 2000. All games will be automatic, chained, and have a 30 round limit. All matchups will be randomly chosen using Random.org. Here's how the tournament will go down.
1st Batch:
[spoiler]Round 1: 8 Player Terminator. Sunny, Nuclear, No Trench.
Scoring: $10 for each kill. $5 for winning. $2 for surviving, but not winning.
Round 2: Quads. Sunny, Flat Rate, No Trench.
Scoring: $12 For winning
Round 3: 4 player assassin. Sunny, Nuclear, Trench.
Scoring: $20 for winning. $5 for not winning, but not being the one assassinated. (If round limit is reached, all players get $7 regardless of winner)
Round 4: 1v1. Sunny, No Spoils, No Trench.
Scoring: $12 for Winning.
Round 5: Doubles. Sunny, Flat Rate, No Trench.
Scoring: $12 for Winning[/spoiler]
After Round 5, the bottom 4 players will be eliminated. Tie-breakers will be standard sunny escalating games.
2nd Batch:
[spoiler]Round 6: Trips. Foggy, Escalating, No Trench
Scoring: $30 for Winning
Round 7: 6 player Terminator. Foggy, flat rate, trench.
Scoring: $15 for each kill. $15 for winning. $6 for surviving, but not winning.
Round 8: 4 player standard. Sunny, escalating, no trench.
Scoring: $50 for Winning, $10 for 2nd place
Round 9: Doubles. Foggy, No Spoils, Trench.
Scoring: $30 for Winning
Round 10: 1v1. Foggy, No Spoils, Trench.
Scoring: $25 for Winning[/spoiler]
The bottom 4 players will be eliminated again, leaving 8.
Third Batch:
[spoiler]Round 11: 8 Player Terminator. Sunny, No Spoils, Trench.
Scoring: $50 for each kill. $50 for winning. $20 for surviving, but not winning.
Round 12: Quads. Sunny, Flat Rate, No Trench.
Scoring: $80 For winning
Round 13: 4 player assassin. Sunny, Nuclear, Trench.
Scoring: $100 for winning. $20 for not winning, but not being the one assassinated.
Round 14: 1v1. Foggy, No Spoils, No Trench.
Scoring: $60 for Winning.
Round 15: Doubles. Sunny, Flat Rate, No Trench.
Scoring: $80 for Winning
Round 16: 8 player standard. Sunny, Escalating, No Trench.
Scoring: $120 for Winning, $50 for 2nd, $30 for 3rd, $20 for 4th.[/spoiler]
After Round 16, the bottom half of the players will be eliminated, leaving only 4 for the finals.
The Finals:
[spoiler]Round 17: Each opponent will face each other opponent 1v1 once. Foggy, Nuclear, Trench. (3 games total)
Scoring: $100 per win
Round 18: Assassin. Foggy, No Spoils, No Trench.
Scoring: $150 per win. $30 for not winning, but not being assassinated.
Round 19: Terminator. Sunny, Escalating, No Trench
Scoring: $100 per Kill. $50 for Winning. $20 for surviving, but not winning.[/spoiler]
All 5 games for the finals will be sent out at once. The player with the most money at the end will be crowned the victor.
For Foggy 1v1, 2v2, and 3v3 matches, the Fog of War Courtesy Rule will be in place.
Explanation of Fog of War Rule:
[spoiler]This means that if you have the first turn, you cannot take your turn until:
12 hours have passed
or
Your opponent writes something in the chat.
Violations in 1v1 games will result in a forfeit. Violations in team games will result in the violating player losing an amount of $$ equal to the current round number.
If a turn absolutely must be taken before 12 hours to avoid a miss, simply copy the game log before your opponent starts their turn.[/spoiler]
Money will continue to accumulate throughout the tournament. It will never reset. Post on this thread if you want in or if you have any questions. If I start to have trouble getting 16 2000+ players I may have to lower the min requirement.
