If you can voluntarily leave those institutions, a restraining order is not necessary.bedub1 wrote:Does anybody know anything about filing restraining orders? Since corporations are now people, can I file one against twitter, facebook and google? They are constantly stalking me, following me everywhere and harassing me. They won't leave me alone. Even when I'm someplace else, they are still stalking me. It's getting out of hand. I really want it to stop.

But you can't. That's just it. Even if you're not a member they still track you and keep records about what you do, read, and watch.thegreekdog wrote:If you can voluntarily leave those institutions, a restraining order is not necessary.bedub1 wrote:Does anybody know anything about filing restraining orders? I am quite sure you can find an attorney willing to take your money to fight the case. Winning.. that is another matter entirely.bedub1 wrote:Does anybody know anything about filing restraining orders? But I like them stalking me...they are the only ones that do. No one except Facebook ever asks me about what's on my mind!bedub1 wrote:Let's do it class action, and use it to try to change the way these corporations operate and their ability to stalk us constantly.PLAYER57832 wrote:I am quite sure you can find an attorney willing to take your money to fight the case. That horse has long left the gate, I am afraid. Preventing them from stalking us will inhibit their right to free access and the ability to run their free market enterprises.bedub1 wrote:Let's do it class action, and use it to try to change the way these corporations operate and their ability to stalk us constantly.PLAYER57832 wrote:I am quite sure you can find an attorney willing to take your money to fight the case. I don't ever want to be recorded by this device. If somebody wears one in front of me I will remove it from their person and destroy it. My right's to remain safe, secure, and not harassed/stalked trump their rights to wear that product.

your security > free speech rights
your security > other people's property rights
your security > other people's security (since you're going to using force against their persons in the act of removing their glass).
What do you resemble?
Your being recorded in a public, open space is not assault.bedub1 wrote:In my example nobody was talking.BigBallinStalin wrote:So...bedub1 wrote:Take it a step further to Google Glass:

If you assault somebody with your property, and your property is damaged, too bad. Your property rights don't supersede my rights to avoid being assaulted. IE You can't smack me with your baseball bat and then sue me when your bat breaks.
I am only defending myself against assault.
yes, because, of course, only someone with something to hide would worry about being watched, right BBS?BigBallinStalin wrote:Your being recorded in a public, open space is not assault.bedub1 wrote:In my example nobody was talking.BigBallinStalin wrote:So...bedub1 wrote:Take it a step further to Google Glass:

I'll answer my own question about your position: you sound like a fascist.
I explained what you resemble and clearly defended it--that's called "attacking your words."
