very well done TNC! yeah seems like it's lost for us on both games vs you dirty freakns! that was a hell of a challenge, all 3 games have been leaning one way and another all the time with spectacular dice fails/dice miracles all the time. USA apocalypse was hell of interesting, we've been down to 3vs4 players all game but they had 3 players with a radioactive malus so both teams were deploying 9! never thought how interesting the strategy could get on this map with those settings! I'm still mad for missing those eliminations on japan and apocalypse grrrrrrrr!! we just needed to win one of these 2!!!
PS: I think it's BS that nuclear games are not allowed in the clan world. no strategy and only luck, seriously?? we're pretty much all clan guys playing this tournament, and I'm pretty sure all of us are doing some risk management with spoils. I think the nuke strategy in team game is great, + adding trench to that even more.
Agree with you 100%. Nukes take far more strategic thinking than any other game type. Also the concept of a 'lucky 3 card set' does not really exist in nukes, coz often a 3 card set contains territories owned by your own team. Not sure about trench for clan games - they can go on for ages - unless they are introduced with a compulsory round limit so that games do not delay progress in tournies.
And yeah....isn't USApocalypse a great map! Always a fascinating strategy when silos can be -1 or +3 depending on the number held.

Played plenty of clan games with trench, including an entire war and another one coming up. Barely any went above 20 rounds, so no real delay. A round limit makes sure anyway. We've also been discussing this and feel that these settings make for some incredibly tactical battles, as mentioned already. The combo of trench and nukes really makes you think and work as a team

because we already won the round vs them! (started all 3 games, good guesses on the drops + good dice..) this was the last round of phase 1 and you guys are eliminated, so no need for replacements or anything krikee.
on group A there is no more suspense, the 2 teams advancing are pack and otp1. sorry for the teams that were doing good and had a little hope (a couple of teams could ve advanced if we had lost and they had won).

well done OTP1! if TNC loses this round, the GA medal is yours! As already said, group A is already decided; OTP1 (7-0) and PACK (6-1) advance to the final, all remiing games are just for points, honour and medal hunting unique kills! (we will have to take our revenge in the finals freakns!!! lol) Group B has TNC in the finals no matter what; second place is between TOFU1 who just needs to win this round; WAR and FISO need to win and to see TOFU1 lose, and also see if they can win on "goal average". There could be a triple tie for the 2nd place, but it will be hard to keep TOFU1 out of the finals!
