What's up with clickable maps?

Post by ViperOverLord »

Is someone screwing with it?

- It went from solid steady boxes to thin cross hairs which don't stick on the target very well.
- All of the sudden, spoils boxes don't show on the turn-ins.
- No boxes are showing on deploys or reinfos.

Why would you make a great thing worse? This boggles my mind.

Is it possible that your settings were changed in your BOB options? (You'll need to be in a game page to actually see all the options).

It seems to have been some sort of glitch (and/or user error). It changed back the next time I went online.

For me Clickable Maps stopped showing completely as a menu in both Chrome and Firefox.

I tried downloading and re-installing it but the menu doesn't show.

It still partly functions though, it draws squares around a territory when I click it, but it does not work well for attacking or re-enforcing.

This started happening around the same time when Bob crapped out after the advertising change on Freemium.

Yep, same issue as BOB. It needs the same data, should be updated.

Yes, and also on Chrome it's the same issue.

This may only affect Freemium users though. Let me know if/how I can help troubleshoot.

Is there a way to revert back to 4.10 until it is fixed?

Thanks,

Great update on the clickies.........just ended a great looking rampage by NOT advancing my hoard when I clicked.......sigh
Guess I shouldn't just "trust" the updates eh?

Is there going to have to be a freemium version and a premium version to account for the presence or absence of ads?

Sh** man. I wish I read this before I pressed to upgrade. Who's beta testing this stuff? Why take us from working programs to non working programs?

As was said in another thread; it does work w/o Bob. So disable bob and then do your snaps after you enable it again. Not a perfect solution; but something.

Out of curiosity what was wrong with the previous version that it needed to be updated. Thank god I have two computers so I switched back to the one that doesn't have this problem. Not sure if the issues was caused from the clickie upgrade or the bob upgrade.

I normally never update in the first week it is available because there is ALWAYS problems. I relearned my lesson by upgrading as soon as I saw that flashing text.

If you right click it does deploy all for default.

You need to left click if u want to deploy only 1 troop.

Right click also forts all of a stack to when in reinforcement mode.
