They might make an offical clan rank system, but I agree. This needs to be held until the ranking system is implemented.DogAlmighty wrote:I think they should hold off on that till they make an offical clan rank system. Right after hell freezes over.
the scoreboard is updated every hour.JOHNNYROCKET24 wrote:What if your a clan hopper going from clan to clan? How quickly will it be updated with the new clan name ?
I've been thinking of this. The easiest way to code would be to show a player's default usergroup, but that wouldn't show the clans for all users. That would be man-hours in every month to keep track of exactly what chap is talking about, to put certain usergroups as a higher ranking for being displayed than others.chapcrap wrote:The issue with this is keeping up to date with which clans are competitive and which are social and making sure that if a player switches clans, it is shown correctly.
A player's clan can always be found in the usergroup drop down, which is on everyone's profile.
And within that table, it can be indicated on whether the group/clan is competitive, social, or a generic usergroup.greenoaks wrote:why is there not a table of clans and a list of members automatically generated as the info is on our profile page?
and if there is a competitive one for a player it is listed in the newly created Clan field on the scoreboard.patrickaa317 wrote:And within that table, it can be indicated on whether the group/clan is competitive, social, or a generic usergroup.greenoaks wrote:why is there not a table of clans and a list of members automatically generated as the info is on our profile page?
