I'm getting so sick of this that I'm on the point of quiting the site.

We had a two turn notice truce, I went to bed last night and wake up to this. Can I complain about it? I was in a 100% winning position and this is the second time it's happened this week with different players.

the official stance is that it is allowed to make truces, but nobody is forcing you to keep them. Backstabbing can be fun. The major point being there can be only one winner, so you should do the utmost to win, including breaking truces if thats neccecary.

people who do this often will earn the tag backstabber, and people will be less likely to play witgh them or trust them, but again, a truce is not somethig that will ever be enforced.
many people think making a truce is stupid and should be banned altogether, so be wise who you trust with a truce. Also, when there are only 2 players, it is customary (expected) that they break a truce, they want to get as good a start on you as they can manage. cheating lieing basterds they may be, but its legal..

I take it for granted that if we come down to the last two players then the truce is off and the best man wins.
