Asking myself this question made me realize that it's almost never an individuals fault when something isn't working, and firing any one person would do very little difference. When something is going wrong it's almost always the entire system that is at fault, not the one sitting atop of it.

Agreed. Individuals can't be held accountable because free will does not exist. Since their surroundings and others are at fault for making them so, then we cannot fire anyone, or we must fire everyone.
Given the opportunity, I think most people, myself included, would fire someone for personal reasons/gain.
If you wanted to help others, your best bet would probably be firing a dictator like Omar Al-Bashir, though even then it's hard to say whether that would actually help people.
Gillipig wrote:Free will doesn't even matter here, regardless of if we have it or not individuals are not to blame when an entire system is rotten.
A good way to remove rot is with chlorine; therefore, all individuals should be chlorinated for at least 12 hours.
Just not in gas form, though.

Of course not. I was thinking of letting them soak for a day in a large chlorinated pool, taking them out, allow 2-6 hours to dry, and then reuse like new!

On that note, "fire all or everyone" I'd definitely fire everyone in congress, senate, and their staffs; and hire others at 10% current benefits and salaries.

I'm sorry, but this is irrelevant. Either choose gas masks for humans, dogs, or kittens (none for cats, for they shall perish).

Amen to that.

Most of the cnuts who arranged the last banking crisis are gone, but there's still a few slimes around who deserve to be put in a dark room with some of the people who's lives they shredded in their pursuit of greed.
