Here's to those who are serious about getting that cross map medal and becoming a more well rounded player.
So, You Think You Can Cross Map... 13 Colonies, Series 1 To get almost everyone in the tournament their cross map medal, this will be a Checkpoint Round Robin. Those who make it to round three should easily have this map CM'd.show: My Definition of Checkpoint Round Robin
A checkpoint round robin has a basic round robin structure, where everyone still plays everyone. However, there are multiple rounds of round robins so that more games can be made against people you might have previously lost to. At the end of the first round robin, the people with the fewest wins (or "points") are eliminated. The remaining players will play again in another round robin, as points are accumulated and transfer over to the next round. If everyone has the same amount of points at the end of a round, then everyone will advance until someone gets a higher number of wins causing them not to be eliminated.
Game Settings: show: Game Settings
I don't want to set a standard game setting that everyone gets stuck with, nor do I want to require one and have to hound down everyone who doesn't post upon signup. So, if you want to play to your advantage, post a home setting upon signup. That will be what all of your games are played on unless you change it (good chance to try out new settings, if you don't like them PM me new settings and I'll create the rest of your games on those). Only limits are- No Manual (Bugs going on right now with it), no Freestyle (hard to get people to accept invites), and no speed games. Other than that, the choice is yours. If you and your opponent both chose home settings, I will put your names into List Generator on random.org and whoever's name comes up first on the list is the settings I will use. If no settings are specified, they will be "Classic" Settings (Auto-Seq-Chained-Esc-No Sp.GamePlay-No RL

Seems pretty self explanatory. Medals will be based on what settings you chose, as well as Cross Map progress.

New Feature: Auto Signups show: Auto Signups
Based on previous tourneys, I see a lot of the same people joining some of my tournaments. I love that, it makes me feel good inside, and want to make things easier for those who do. Below is a list of maps for this Series, and the same settings will be used as in this tournament. They will hopefully all have opened for recruiting by the winter holidays. If you want me to sign you up automatically for all of them, please send me a PM and I will gladly do so. If there is one or any number of them that you don't want in, just specify whatever tournaments interest or don't interest you, and I'll sign you up for only the appropriate ones. If a real life issue comes up, I'll probably figure it out based on other tournaments and ask if you still want to be signed up, or you can send me a PM and make it easier .
