I am a mod on another forum, and when you delete threads, it says something like

Are you sure you want to delete this thread? Once it is deleted it can not be renewed

Unless they saved it somewhere, its gone forever.

(Most forums have a secret section that only mods can see where they can talk about whats happening. Maybe they moved it there. Unlikely, but possible)
