NFL PICKS: Super Bowl Sunday

Don`t have all the games in yet obviously, but it`s looking like Panthers are going to switch spots with the Seahawks this week. I can`t wait to see ESPN jump them 7 spots!

Also, I checked this week`s games with our two ranking systems. All matchups are the same in a relative sense. I mean, I had San Diego ranked higher than Washington, and so did they. Clearly, home-field advantage had something to say about that. I had raiders ranked higher than Eagles, so did they. Clearly, the 76ers World Championship run is contagious.

The NFC Least won three games today, Giants had a bye.
Buccaneers and Texans both surrendered huge leads,
Seattle needed OT to squeeze by winless Tampa Bay.

Meanwhile Eagles QB matches NFL highs with 7 TD passes,
but uncovered receivers tend to do that.

Week 9

CIN ... Bengals wrap an OT gift for the fishes
CAR ... Falcons have been wallowing in mediocrity
DAL ... another ugly win
NO ... Jets DEFENSE show up big
TEN ... starts a 3 game win streak in St.Louis
KC ...scoring defense on the prowl

That game was relatively entertaining for a Rodgers-less, Cutler-less game. Hopefully Rodgers isn't out long so the NFC North becomes truly competitive with all three teams playing well.

Houston felt a similar sting, it seemed like they had ended their skid.

Win - Carolina @ Tampa Bay - Someone called Carolina the "good bad team" (meaning it is the best of the bad teams).
Win - Dallas @ Detroit - The Cowboys played some poor football last Sunday and the defense was not impressive, more Philadelphia's QB woes.
Win - Cleveland @ Kansas City - If it was in Cleveland, I would pick the Browns in an upset, but KC is tough to beat at home.
Win - Miami @ New England - Pats will be angry.
Win - Buffalo @ New Orleans
Loss - NY Giants @ Philadelphia - The Giants are still really bad and now that they've won a game, they don't have much to play for.
Win - San Francisco @ Jacksonville - I think this will be a relatively close game.
